The mission of the Brain Freeze Project is to share the richness of the underground dance world and to bring this culture to the forefront of Toronto’s Dance scene. Our focus is to bring diversity to the urban dance culture by providing the community with opportunities to learn and educate themselves from local talent as well as from internationally renowned artists. By providing social events and

workshops we strive to educate, support and link those with similar passions together so that Toronto can be placed on the map as a catalyst to the growth of the global underground dance scene.

Ubuntu is an event series that invites Toronto’s underground dance/music to flourish.
Dr. Mephisto and Juergen Mügen explore to the latest sounds coming out of Chicago to Durban all while never forgetting a good old throw back to Hip Hop.

We are opening our warm-up set to up and coming Toronto DJs, you will be exposed to new sounds and new moves in this 4th season of Ubuntu.

Please record and upload (soundcloud, mixcloud,etc) a mix including at least one of the following styles (afro house, afro-beats, old school hip hop, world music) and send it to us. Don't be afraid to be creative, surprise us!
