We came home from Tokyo with a suitcase full of snacks… but that wasn’t the only thing we brought back. 🇯🇵

Every trip to Japan leaves us inspired, not just by the food, but by the way people welcome, care, create, and pay attention to the little things.

From warm oshibori towels to the pride people take in their work, the quiet respect woven into everyday life, and a city everyone seems to take responsibility for, there were so many small moments that stayed with us.

And now we’re bringing some of those ideas home to Roll This Way. 🍣

We wrote about what inspired us, what we noticed, and the things we hope to carry into every workshop, event, and guest experience.

Read Something We Brought Home from Tokyo (Besides a Suitcase Full of Snacks) on the blog. ✈️🇯🇵

POV: You just made a tray full of dumplings... and now it's time for the best part. 🥟🔥 The reveal!

Every guest gets their own bamboo steamer, packed with the dumplings they folded by hand. Into the steam they go... and just minutes later, they're hot, fluffy, and ready to devour (or take home if you somehow have the willpower 😏).

From mixing the fillings to mastering the folds and steaming your very own batch, you'll experience the entire dumpling-making journey from start to finish.

Warning: Once you've tasted homemade dumplings fresh out of the steamer, there's no going back. 😉
