๐ˆโ€™๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐š๐ฅ๐ฐ๐š๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐›๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐œ๐ก๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐ ๐ง๐ž.

Just flipping through some photos from these past 2 life changing years and stumbling upon a rare moment where I was caught in the act. The raw emotion of listening to my clients thank their guests while holding their chilled champagne, ready to hand it over so they can pop it (because Iโ€™m terrified of champagne popping actually, so I wouldnโ€™t do it myself ๐Ÿ˜†)

After this past weekโ€™s emotional and vulnerable announcement about my mental health and making the decision to take a step back from month-of coordination next year (and still doing planning but limiting the number of contracts), I have to say, this photo really does encompass why itโ€™s a โ€œpause for now, not foreverโ€.

Designing wonderful moments like these for both myself and for couples is why I got into this business almost 14 years ago and why I am still here. Every vendor who has worked weddings and has been doing it for longer than 5 years can agree with me that itโ€™s work that you want to keep fighting for.

So thank you for your overwhelming support in my commitment to working on myself to be better. The calls, the texts, the dms, the resounding agreement that I am not alone in this - itโ€™s all been overly moving. I wonโ€™t disappoint you and this is only the beginning of better things and a more resilient future.

๐‚๐จ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ž, ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ž. ๐๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ค, ๐ฅ๐ข๐ค๐ž ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ.

I donโ€™t celebrate Halloween anymore (no kids and live in a condo, and if I put my dog in another costume I swear sheโ€™ll bite my hand off). But I always loved what creativity came out of the occasion.

A few years ago, we had the opportunity to design a Halloween themed wedding for a client and weโ€™re 99% sure it was going to be held at Heintzman House in Markham for that old timey spooky vibe. And of course, whatโ€™s a Halloween wedding without an ultimate, over the top, custom made black dress?

The wedding never went through (long story, hit me in dms for the full scoop), but these were all the original inspiration pics (plus a few more) for that dress.

A few years ago, we had the opportunity to design a Halloween themed wedding for a client and weโ€™re 99% sure it was going to be held at Heintzman House in Markham for that old timey spooky vibe. And of course, whatโ€™s a Halloween wedding without an ultimate, over the top, custom made black dress?
