Happy 18th Birthday to my firstborn, my heartbeat, my greatest blessing. β€οΈ
Eighteen years ago, God entrusted me with the most precious gift, and today I stand in awe of the beautiful young woman you've become.
We've walked through storms that many people will never understand. We've gone through divorce, moved across three countries, started over more than once, gone from sleeping on a couch to finally having a place to call home. Through every challenge, you never complained. You stood beside me with love, patience, and strength. We truly grew up together.
You have always been a light. Kind, respectful, humble, hardworking, and full of joy. You excel in school, you treat everyone with kindness, and everywhere you go, people speak so highly of you. As your mother, there is no greater joy than hearing others confirm the beautiful heart I've always known you have.
Today, I pray that the God who has carried us this far will continue to carry you. May He order every one of your steps, surround you with His favor, protect you from all harm, and lead you into His perfect purpose. May every dream He has placed in your heart come to pass.
I pray that you will never know shame or regret. You will never marry the wrong person in the mighty name of Jesus. God will bless you with a man after His own heart who will love, honor, and cherish you. Your home will be filled with peace, joy, laughter, and God's presence. You will be the head and never the tail, above and never beneath. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and the hand of God will remain upon your life all the days of your life.
Thank you for being my daughter, my strength, and one of God's greatest gifts to me. I am so proud of the woman you are becoming, and I cannot wait to watch God do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ever ask or imagine in your life.
Happy 18th Birthday, my darling. I love you beyond words, beyond today, and beyond forever.
May God bless you, keep you, and make His face shine upon you always. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen. β€οΈππ
