Happy Thanksgiving!

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, we pause to reflect on the goodness of God and the countless blessings He has poured into our lives.

We are especially thankful for the gift of family, friends, community, and the wonderful people God has brought together through Jesus in the City.

Thank you to all the churches, pastors, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and supporters who continue to stand with us as we celebrate Love for God and Love for People throughout our city and beyond! 🧡

May your hearts and homes be filled with God's love, peace, joy, and gratitude this Thanksgiving season.

"Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His love endures forever." — Psalm 107:1

🍁 Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Jesus in the City! 🍂🧡

12-MONTH ROADMAP FOR CHURCHES | The Journey Starts Now! | JITC 2027 🏁

We’re still celebrating all that happened at this year’s Jesus in the City Parade & Festival — the thousands who filled the streets, the churches that came together, the floats and presentations, and the powerful witness of Jesus in the heart of Toronto! 💙

And while the memories are still fresh, we’re already looking ahead — giving churches and organizations an entire year to dream bigger, plan earlier, mobilize more people and prepare for 2027.

To help make that happen, we’ve created a 12-Month Planning Roadmap for Churches — a simple month-by-month guide designed to help you build momentum throughout the year toward the 28th Annual Jesus in the City Parade on Saturday, September 11, 2027!

The journey to September 2027 starts NOW! 🏁

-🗓️ OCTOBER: SAVE THE DATE!
✔️ Put September 11, 2027 on your church calendar.
✔️ Meet with your leadership about participating bigger in 2027.
✔️ Appoint a JITC Church Coordinator to help lead your church’s preparation throughout the year.

Then follow the roadmap with us each month as we build our teams, share the vision, choose our themes, plan, create, reach our communities and prepare to take Jesus to the streets!

Imagine what September 2027 could look like if churches across Toronto and the GTA start preparing NOW — mobilizing their congregations, engaging children and youth, developing creative floats and presentations, inviting their communities and bringing thousands together to publicly celebrate Jesus!

Together, let's make the 28th Annual Jesus in the City Parade an incredible expression of faith, unity and the love of Jesus across our city!

What an incredible day we had on Saturday! The 27th Annual Jesus in the City Parade & Festival filled the streets of downtown Toronto with joy, worship, colour, praise and the presence of God!

From Queen’s Park and through the streets of our city, churches, ministries, families, artists, dancers, musicians, volunteers and communities came together with one purpose — to lift up the name of JESUS!

To every church, ministry, sponsor, partner, artist, performer, volunteer, marshal, vendor, community organization and participant — THANK YOU! Your prayers, generosity, creativity, hard work and commitment helped make this year's celebration possible.

Thank you to the City of Toronto, Toronto Police Service, our elected officials, community partners and everyone who worked behind the scenes to help us bring Jesus in the City to the streets once again.

And to everyone who came out, marched, danced, worshipped, cheered, prayed and celebrated with us — YOU are Jesus in the City! ❤️

For 27 years, we have witnessed generations come together in the heart of Toronto to publicly proclaim a message of faith, hope, love, peace and joy.

Most importantly, our evangelism teams reported that many people gave their lives to the Lord and confessed Jesus Christ as their Saviour! This is what it’s all about — lives being touched, hearts being changed and the Good News of Jesus Christ being shared on the streets of our city.

We are so grateful for what God did this year, and we believe the seeds planted on the streets will continue to bear fruit long after the parade is over.

To God be all the glory!

Thank you, Toronto, for an unforgettable 27th Annual Jesus in the City Parade!

SAVE THE DATE!
We’ll see you back on the streets for the next Jesus in the City Toronto Parade on Saturday, September 11, 2027!

❤️ Keep lifting Jesus high in the city!
