There’s a week in late September where the season finally makes up its mind. The light drops, the palette deepens, and every room we’re designing starts asking for a little more shadow.

Our September Trend Report is live. A red-toned brown we’re building our fall palettes around, one bloom used with enough conviction to carry an entire scheme, and the overhead moment that’s taking the budget centrepieces used to, plus the Toronto tables, design finds, and songs we can’t stop talking about.

When Alicia came to us for her baby shower, we knew we didn’t want to give the day a traditional theme. Instead, we built the creative direction around a feeling: the effortless glamour of a chic afternoon spent poolside, softened through blush pink and fresh green, and woven into the private estate so seamlessly that nothing felt brought in for the day.

Custom-print loungers and scalloped umbrellas lined the pool, bistro tables sat beneath a canopy of white in the gardens, drapery softened the main house, and a subtle nod to Palm Beach greeted guests at the gate.

We wanted guests to wander, so the day was built as a series of zones to discover rather than a single space to sit in, with each designed to engage a different sense. A round of Baby Bocce on the lawn. A boutique beneath a striped awning where every guest styled a look for Baby K—from Shopping With Mom to First Pool Day—and left a handwritten note for the lookbook. Custom embroidery on gifts to take home. Chef Romain Avril moving from the gardens to the pool with Ch*****ne chicken ballotine, Ora King salmon on pea risotto, and ratatouille tartlets, while hand massages waited between cocktails.

By the end of the afternoon, guests had wandered, tasted, played, created, and discovered something new at every turn.

When one of our own gets married, the details get personal. Our event coordinator Selena said “I do” on a rainy spring day in the church she grew up in, with her bridesmaids in yellow against a palette of white, green, and silver. Guests stepped out of the ceremony to a mobile espresso cart with biscotti, signed a guestbook filled with photos from her Lake Como engagement shoot, and took home custom Italian playing cards and matchboxes, each representing the regions where the two families are from. Vintage silver flatware set the tables, and at two particular chairs, a “Matchmaker” bow marked the aunts, longtime friends, who introduced Selena and Giancarlo six years ago. Some love stories deserve a seat at the table.

An elevated experience, brought to life across three cities.

Galderma trusted us to design and produce the GAIN Roadshow in Toronto, Montreal, and Calgary, an educational gathering for the aesthetic community, reimagined as a fully immersive brand experience.

Soft drapery, sculptural florals, and a palette inspired by the Galderma brand set the tone in every city. Dedicated activations for ALASTIN, Sculptra, Dysport, and Restylane, alongside the interactive Galderma FACE App experience, invited guests to explore and learn, guided by an incredible roster of speakers across all three cities.

Even the food and beverage was curated to reflect each brand’s values and key ingredients. Education, networking, and brand immersion, cohesive, considered, and unforgettable from Toronto to Calgary.
