DRAWING FOR BEGINNERS
Learning to see: Drawing from the human form
June 7th to 28th
Every Saturday 10am to 1pm (4 sessions)

Course Objective
Participants will develop an understanding of the visual language of drawing used to describe the human form and, to this end, be able to see their progress week to week.

Course Description
Drawing is a visual language that teaches how to see. This course will focus on the study of the human form with the aid of the professional life model. The three hours will be structured around short to longer poses so that participants may practice the following fundamentals of drawing : gesture, form, line, volume, light & tone, proportion/scale, and anatomy.
