Victory day is a national holiday in Bangladesh celebrated on December 16 to commemorate the victory of the allied forces over the Pakistani forces in the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971.

To celebrate - Seamlessly by naz organized an event where the older generation who faced the war and the youth who only heard/read about it could come together under same roof to share each other's experiences and/or insights on the war, its effects.

There was also a segment of painting where both adults and youngsters were asked to paint/draw anything relating to the war in their own perspective - or what vicotry day meant to them individually

Alongside, the decor immitated traditional lifestyle - simple households, library setting, lanterns - traditional food was also served (tea in clay glasses, peetha (bangladeshi winter sweet).
