As many of you know The Edward Day Gallery is moving at the end of August.

To celebrate our 14 years at 952 Queen St. we have hung a show of gallery owned Russian works in the main space with a number of articles of interest, books, hand made benches, book shelves, etc. at very discounted prices.

This sale will go on until the end of the month from Tuesday- Sunday during the hours 10am-6pm. Hope to see you there.

David Sereda and the stray dogs had a wonderful performance last night with David Gray, Colleen Allen, Tyler Wagler and Anne Michaels. Truly spectacular!

David Sereda will be performing a Song Circle next wednesday at Edward Day Gallery, July 29th at 7PM.

Join david sereda, David Gray, Colleen Allen, Tyler Wagler and Anne Michaels at Edward Day Gallery on July 20th at 7PM for some words and music on the themes of Lost and Found.

Tickets are $20 at the door, opening at 7 for a 7:30 start.

The Stray Dog is a mongrel mix of music, words and theatre kenneled in one of Toronto's most happening contemporary art galleries. The original Stray Dog Cafe was in St. Petersburg, Russia, from 1912 to 1915. We continue in that spirit: encouraging the unexpected, the tangential, the stray aesthetic.

This will be the final concert at our 952 Queen Street Location.

Be a part of a unique Canadian opportunity to study with one of the masters of contemporary figurative painting, Vincent Desiderio. Represented by the Marlborough Gallery and a senior critic at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the New York Academy of Art, Vincent has deeply influenced many artists in America and internationally.

This is a chance to study with an artist who makes a compelling argument for figuration in painting in dialogue with other visual art. Part technical figure painting workshop, part polemic on how artists must immerse themselves in thought and culture. A weekend of study with Desiderio can aid artists interested in representation realize the profound potential in their work.
