Ukrainian Family in need of help, organized by Michelle Moll

RSG Events is proud to be helping a Ukranian family makes it way to Toronto next week. We have secured a place for them to stay for May and June but ultimately, we would like them to have their own 2 bedroom apartment. They are a 22 year old young man, his 24 year old sister and her 25 year old husband. They are in need of monetary donations and gift cards (No Frills, Sobeys, Walmart, Winners) and jobs. The 24 year old speaks English very well. His sister and brother-in-law don't. If you can help with a job or offer a donation, it would be greatly appreciated. We need to pay it forward and help others. Some of us are very blessed, other's not so much. Whatever you can donate is very much appreciated. Help A Kid Out!!!, organized by Stuart Sugar

Out of all the families and single moms I help, this one ripped into my heart instantly.

A young 16 year old girl completely alone in the world. Her mom died a few years ago very suddenly and very unexpectedly. She has been traumatized ever since (she was the one that found her mom) and battling anxiety and depression. She recently left an abusive situation and with the help of some incredible people, she is now safe and living in a basement apartment. Alone.

For obvious reasons, I cannot answer any questions about her situation. CAS is involved and aware of the situation.

An incredibly kind person started a GoFundMe page for this young girl. Living alone in the world, she needs all the help she can get.

Planning weddings during Covid-19 has been quite challenging and somewhat stressful for my brides and grooms. I have helped all my clients navigate their way through the planning process as we never knew if we could have 10 guests, 25 guests, 50 guests or 100 guests! Daniela & Seth's wedding was subject to so many changes. We planned this wedding several times as the City kept changing the rules. In the end, they had just under 100 guests outdoors. It was beyond beautiful!! I love this couple so much. They were such a pleasure to deal with. They took everything that came their way in stride. After all, what else can you do? This bride is so incredibly special to me. She and her husband were amazing to work with. Planning a wedding during Covid can be quite challenging. Normally I plan a wedding once but with Covid, I have been planning the same wedding 3 or 4 times. There are so many unknowns. Too many moving parts. So many changes, challenges and roadblocks. It can be quite stressful. Their vision of having a big wedding was reduced to 50 guests. The wedding was beautiful and intimate. You could feel their love from miles away. At the end of the day, they just wanted to be married and start their life as husband and wife. Danielle, it was an honor helping you plan your wedding. You made my job so easy! After months of being at a standstill due to Covid-19, the weddings are back on! Yesterday's wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever done. Danielle and Jonathan are an amazing couple. You can feel their love from miles away. With the closeness of only 50 guests, the wedding was incredibly special. The room was bursting with love and warmth. It truly was a beautiful day!! Thank you to all the vendors that made it possible.
