Chanukah (Hanukkah) celebrates religious freedom, resilience, and faith, commemorating events from over 2,000 years ago. According to tradition, when the Second Temple in Jerusalem was reclaimed and the menorah was relit, only one day’s worth of sacred oil was found—yet it miraculously burned for eight days, which is why Chanukah is celebrated for eight nights. Today, the holiday is marked by lighting the menorah, spending time with family and community, and reflecting on the deeper meaning of light overcoming darkness and the importance of standing true to one’s identity and beliefs.
For me, Chanukah is also about choosing light over darkness in how we treat one another. Prejudice, abuse, and disrespect have no place in humanity. If we lived with integrity, loyalty, trust, and respect, this world would be a very different place—wars would diminish, homelessness would be addressed, and by working together instead of against one another, we could create a stronger economy and a world where we all thrive.
Please take a moment to reflect on this past year—how you live your life, how you treat others, and how you do business. Even small changes can create powerful shifts, and you may be surprised how much better life becomes when you lead with intention. I have spent my life striving to live this way, focusing on positive energy and making a meaningful difference for those around me. I wish all of my friends, family, colleagues, and partners a very happy Hanukkah, and I wish you nothing but goodness, peace, and light in your life. 🕎✨
