Personally, I love to DIY. I DIYd my entire wedding, right down to my husbands jacket! But I also loved being a bride and just enjoying myself on my wedding day.

That’s a huge part of why I offer day of wedding coordination, because I know there are other brides like me out there who love to plan, love to create, and also love to be the centre of attention with absolutely no worries on the day they get married.

So I took my 14+ years of experience as an event producer and turned it into The Joy Factor, so I could help brides and couples like me, to truly enjoy their wedding days.

Helping my clients Elana and Helen set up this intimate space for their signing ceremony was really impactful for me. Knowing that they had a quiet space for this private part of the wedding, signing the Ketubah with their most precious friends and family present to witness, was so important, because wedding days move very fast. Holding space in the middle of everything for meaningful moments makes a wedding day feel more whole.

Last weekend, my clients Helen and Elana had BIG plans to catch the perfect light for their golden hour photos out on the harbour, and be back in time for an outfit change and grand re-entrance all within an hour. It was a bold timeline, but the key element to pulling it all off was to make sure that each transition was managed down to the minute.

What a beautiful wedding yesterday on Algonquin Island at ! We were honoured to help Helen and Elana down the aisle, and it’s the little moments like this that always bring me to tears. Because a perfect and joyful wedding day is just one part of your love story, the rest is defined by small moments of care just like this one!
