Venice does not whisper history…. it performs it.
Tonight, beneath the arches of St. Mark’s Square, time seemed to stand still. The melodies of live Orchestra Florian musicians drifted across the piazza echoing through one of the most beautiful public squares ever created.
At Caffè Florian, serving guests since 1720, every note, every candlelit reflection, and every glance across the square felt like stepping into another century. Here, emperors, artists, writers, and dreamers once gathered, and for a moment, so did we.
What made this evening unforgettable for us was the kindness and artistry of the musicians. Without hesitation, they graciously accepted my request and beautifully performed the iconic tango, Por Una Cabeza, from Scent of a Woman. As the music filled St. Mark’s Square.
Humbled by the beauty of this island and grateful for the privilege of experiencing a place where art, culture, and human connection continue to transcend time.
Venice is an experience and a masterpiece.
