Topped these apple and white wine duck sausages with shinano mushrooms, cucumbers, scallions, nori and a little Kewpie mix with .ca’s Maple Bacon blend. Just a few squirts of ketchup added another level of umami! @ Sixteen Ounce

My reflections lately have been learning how to trust myself so I can educate myself. Been sitting on too many feelings but all of it needs a good release. All the grieving you may feel is part of the process to elevation. Feel the shift. I’ll remember to trust that.

Sharing this beautiful anti-racist book list with many books about black culture and history. 💜 The only way to make it stop is to educate yourself and really understand when someone is telling you they’re hurting. In fact, do something— check up on your black friends, support their livelihoods and try reading these. It’s a non-violent, educational way that can potentially unite intentions. Stay woke. My recent Facetime photoshoot with from NY was so much fun! 🥰 We had two set-ups and worked together to make the light work in two different countries! Definitely got an adrenaline rush on creatives... thanks for this ! While that was happening... I made a Truffled Baked Salmon with Lemon-Dill Couscous and Garlic Rapini for this week’s featured Chef box! Make sure you check them out if you’re not down to standing in line just to get groceries. They have ready-to-be-made portions and with recipe cards! All the dinners going out today will be featuring my beloved recipe! Thank you for the feature!

I must admit I’ve been sad and pushing myself really hard lately. Mostly because I’ve been longing to purge for purity. Especially with this confinement I strive for minimalism. It doesn’t matter if it’s with food or feelings...I’m v guilty for this. The other half of me is v happy that there’s all this new. It’s like unwrapping something you just got and you have the very chance to take good care of something again. Maybe it’s just me but I definitely see a silver lining. There is so much hope, strength and love that brings us all closer, kinda nice right? Even though it’s dark right now.. I hope y’all can try and count your blessings. Okay now... go put on something nice and feel goods while you purge. 🍗🍪🌭🌮🍿
