Steak bowls with avocado dips! We marinate our steak overnight and allow all the juices to work their magic before cooking them on high heat so the edges get a little crispy and the middle stays succulent. Don’t forget the squeeze of lime for a fresh zing, especially in this summer heat 👌🏼

Grazing season ☀️

Antipasto platters are a winner for almost any diet or party. Roasted tomatoes, sweet potato, asparagus, eggplant, red pepper, plus some olives, pickled artichokes, mushrooms and bocconcini to top it off. Served with a fresh thick crust bread and hummus dip 😋

Well, unfortunately I broke my foot 🥴
And I’ll have to take a break from Meals-to-go for now. Dang!

So we’re all hoping Joanne’s foot heals quickly and she can be back to cooking and Cinnamon Girls can be up & running again. But in the meantime, we wish everyone a great summer! 🌞

How Cinnamon Girls began 🍎

Cinnamon Girls started as a cafe on Queen St West in 2005. We served daily sandwich’s and specials like soups, our famous Cajun chicken club, tuna melts, and various baked goods.
It was a local hang for our community to relax, enjoy a home-cooked meal, and we always featured local art on the walls.
We transitioned to a catering company and have been going strong ever since.
Now with our “meals-to-go” we’re serving a variety of meals to choose from every week and it’s been so fun to invent variations on our classic dishes.
The neighbourhood has changed so much since we started, with the condos, the loss of our locals like Beaconsfield, The Social, Spin Gallery and more, so now we’re getting to know the community again, but this time over social media!
Chef Joanne and I (Chelsey) are so grateful for all the support so far and really enjoy getting to know everyone so please don’t hesitate to reach out to us anytime! And if you’ve tried our food and you like it, please tell a friend 😊
