To sign or not to sign … more and more we’re seeing couples choosing to do the signing portion of their ceremony beforehand or even after the ceremony. Some explained they felt it took away from the ceremony and that it would be a weird flow. But hear me out: your ceremony is filled with a lot of emotions and it helps everyone, including you, to take a breather and come down from the high. Signing the license only takes a few minutes at most and if you choose a more upbeat song, it’ll prepare you and your guests for the ultimate high of the ceremony: YOUR KISS and EXIT! 🎊

Brittany had me stressed 😰 to the max during our consultation. 😂 She went into labour the same night of our call and despite my many attempts to get her to reschedule, she powered through her contractions and answered all my questions with Chris stepping in every now and then. To say that I was nervous and scared is an understatement! 😅 But we got through it and I remember getting off the phone and thinking, ‘yeahhh, she’s a real one’. 💪

I had 3 coordinators at my own wedding of 50 guests—-am I nuts ? ABSOLUTELY! 🙃 Did everything go as planned? Of course not. But was I stressed? NOPE! 💃 🪩 🕺

For real though. Imagine a movie with no director? A concert with no producer? A meeting with no team lead? 😅

Anytime we can step outside of the norm we are down! Bonus points if it’s at our favourite cider house 🍺

J + A started their day their way. Alex went golfing with this groomsmen while Jasmin spent the morning with her fave people getting ready in the Airbnb Cottage that is right on the West Ave Cider House property. Soon after they shared a first look and private vows and completed all their group portraits before the ceremony. There was not a single dry eye at the willow tree where we held the ceremony. Then the cider and spirits poured while lawn games were played. The outdoor reception was casual and felt like a family bbq. The party then moved indoors and we danced the night away. An absolutely perfect day! 🥰
