They call him Oscar. We call him Ptah. It is important to remember where the inspiration came from. Africa needs to be credited. In Kemet, Ptah was the creator of all things. He was the demiurge who existed before all things, and who, by his will, thought all things in this world. It is believed that Ptah conceived the world by the thought of his heart and gave him life by the magic of his Word. What Ptah ordered was created, in him, the constituents of nature, fauna, and flora, are contained. He also plays a role in the preservation of the universe and the permanence of the royal function.
Did you know that during the XXVth Dynasty, the Nubian Pharaoh Shabaka will have a stela engraved (the Shabaka Stone), an old theological document found in the archives of the temple of Ptah in Memphis. This document, known since under the name of "Memphite Theology", considers that the god Ptah is at the origin of the creation of the universe by thought and by the word.
A major deity in ancient Kemet. When I read how the ancestors described him and how he created the world, I'm impressed. The knowledge of Africans was above everything.
