Alex (amv.3) is a techno DJ, producer, and sound engineer based in Toronto, originally from Riga. His sets lean toward the cerebral and hypnotic — dub-influenced, minimal, and built for deep, focused listening on the dancefloor. He started out on vinyl, shaping his approach through long sessions behind the decks.

Outside of production, Alex runs a monthly (mostly) vinyl pop-up, Elektrofluss, where he plays back-to-back with friends and guests. He works as the lead sound tech for one of Toronto’s mainstay sound systems, AlienInFlux. Whether in the booth or behind the rig, he brings a careful, detail-oriented mindset — always tuned to the atmosphere, never rushing the moment.

Alex is one half of Orange Moon, an electronic music duo that recently debut with a two-hour live set at Avant MUTEK.

TJ Traxx is a DJ of many underground sonics and sounds, blending together everything from old-school classics and contemporary heavy hitters to techno, jungle, electro, and beyond.

Descending from Jamaican and Ghanaian heritage, TJ's roots and culture help shape her deep connection to underground music and sound system culture.

For TJ, DJing is a means of expressing herself freely and fluidly while channeling that energy onto the dancefloor; a sacred space where self-expression and oneness can be celebrated.

TJ is also the curator of .to, a Toronto-based collective dedicated to highlighting Black talent, Black sounds, and Black artists.
