celebrating 50 years young with the most iconic party guest ever… himself 🎉😭

Gaspar, one of the original SGP employees, was surprised by his sister Katie with a custom pull-string piñata made in his likeness and honestly… we don’t think we’ll ever top this one.

what started as a birthday surprise quickly became “his brother” and apparently now has a permanent place hanging proudly at home for future celebrations 😂

this is exactly why we love what we do:
creating pieces that turn into memories, inside jokes, and unforgettable moments for the people who matter most ❤️

we had the best time at the event at Yonge & Eglinton Centre this past weekend! from meeting so many amazing dog moms to watching pups pose for photos with their humans, the energy all day was incredible.

a special shoutout to Tamarah, one of our original SGP team members, for joining us alongside Shida to help promote 💛

thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared kind words, and supported inclusive employment for adults with developmental disabilities. events like these remind us why community matters so much.

this lamb chop–inspired piñata was created for a dog’s birthday (yes, you read that right)

the client asked us to skip the hanging candy ball so she could attach an actual pork chop for her dog to pull…
and instead of candy, we filled it with pork chops 💀

Not every day at Smashing Good Piñatas is just about paper, paste, and piñatas… sometimes we get to hang out with some pretty amazing animal friends too 🐍🐰🐢

Recently we had a visit from Pawsitively Pets, who brought along a few incredible animals for the team to meet. Safe to say everyone had a great time and we may have walked away with a little inspiration for some future animal-themed piñatas 👀✨
