To get to this moment...

Most people think that planners just outsource and hire vendors because that's what they imagine being so overwhelming.
And yes, that's a MASSIVE part of our job, but it's far beyond that. To do it properly, it can take weeks!

We have to take into consideration budget, availability, experience, styles, and personality types (vendor to client and vendor to vendor) and while trying to book we are managing endless email threads, dms, virtual meetings, their schedule, our schedule, your schedule...

Tip of the iceberg.

This leads to managing more logistics.

Each vendor is unique in their own needs, preferences, and require specifics in the timeline... EACH vendor - so multiply that by at least 10 sometimes more.

Now bring all of that together. At AVPEvents, I create 2 separate timelines, and one is for vendors and logistics because I must know exactly where every actual body is at all times (also I'm a control freak) and then every vendor needs to have a copy of a tineline (and which one depends on who they are and what they're doing)

Planning is my love, but it's not all glamor. It's hard, exhausting work that, in the end, is so rewarding and joyous, and that is the moment finally captured here.

And it was worth every moment of work.

Make it make sense for YOU

Don't put yourself in debt because you think you have to compete with other weddings you see on social.

If you WANT too and you CAN then go for it.

It's your day and you don't have to justify your choices to anyone. Just be sure to do the research and find vendors that are in line with your budget.
