Thank you all for coming to the Trans Day of Visibility Poetry Showcase! 🏳️‍⚧️

The poetry showcase wasn’t just an event where the 2SLGBTQ+ artists recited their poetry; it’s about visibility in a world where trans voices are often marginalized, misunderstood, and erased.

It’s also about celebrating the trans community locally and showing that Thunder Bay is not just a place where we live. It’s a place where trans people belong! ❤️

Join us in celebrating the Trans Day of Visibility with a Poetry Showcase brought to you by LGBT Youthline and The Sleepy Gee Events! 🏳️‍🌈

The celebration will showcase spoken poetry from local 2SLGBTQ+ artists:

NOTE 1: Limited seating is available.

NOTE 2: If the parking lot is full at Roots Community Food Centre, parking spaces are alsoavailable at the Moose Hall.

Words can’t describe how incredible the Pride Poetry Showcase was at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery yesterday 🏳️‍🌈

Thank you for coming out and supporting the local 2SLGBTQ+ artists in Thunder Bay! It’s amazing to see how much talents we have and to see the q***r artists showcase a growing art form in the city! 📝
