🎉 CONFETTI, CONTROVERSY & REDEMPTION - AUGUST 1ST 🎉
It all started back in May—a night in Sarnia that was meant to crown a new champion, but instead exploded into one of the most chaotic and controversial finishes Chem Valley Wrestling has ever seen.
On that night, the unpredictable showman Pretty Ricky Willdy stepped into the ring to challenge Vikram Prashar for the Great Lakes Championship. Ricky, known as the Brantford Rattleshake, is a wild, over-the-top fan favourite who’s wrestled all across North America—leaving a trail of titles, laughter, and glitter behind him. He’s as entertaining as he is unorthodox, and with his run for mayor of Brantford kicking off this fall, this could be one of his final matches before trading headlocks for handshakes.
But across the ring stood the reigning champion: Vikram Prashar, The Punjabi Prodigy. Young, cocky, and cold-blooded, Vikram believes he’s above the fans, above his opponents, and above the rules. He’s ruthless, calculated, and has no shame bending the rules to secure a win—especially if it means embarrassing someone like Ricky.
Their May showdown was wild from the start, but everything changed when Ricky, in true Ricky fashion, fired off a confetti cannon mid-match! The blast missed Vikram and blinded the referee instead. Ricky took control, locked in a tight Sharpshooter, and Vikram tapped out.
But the referee—dazed and unable to see what happened—disqualified Ricky for using the confetti.
Vikram kept the title.
Ricky was left stunned.
And the fans? Outraged.
Now, the rematch comes to Lumberjack Days in Thedford—a brand new crowd, but the same unfinished business. This time, the Great Lakes Championship won’t be on the line, but for Pretty Ricky, that doesn’t matter. This isn’t about gold anymore.
This is about redemption.
Vikram, still strutting with the belt and bragging about a win he didn’t truly earn, returns to Thedford ready to humiliate Ricky all over again.
Ricky, entering Lumberjack Days for the first time, comes fired up and laser-focused on proving he should’ve walked out of Sarnia with the win—and he’s not leaving Thedford until he sets the record straight.
Will The Brantford Rattleshake get the justice he was denied?
Or will The Punjabi Prodigy twist the knife one more time?
