We all know that part of the cycle of life is the end. When the kids find an insect at this stage, we use it has a great opportunity to teach about how they lived and what makes them so cool! The kids never get a chance to pet bumblebees, however, after finding this one collapsed on a flower (which, may I add, is probably the best place to 'go'), they were able to get up close to further understand a piece of nature.
