Thanks to everyone that came out to LAP 012 last night! Amazing vibes, as per usual. Your energy makes it worth it!
Thanks also to everyone that volunteers their time and resources to make this happen. We ride a very fine line of keeping this sustainable, and it wouldn't happen without you.
This was our last event at the Sydney Curling Club for the season, as it's soon going to turn into a sauna for the summer. We are going to try and pull together an event or two outside during the summer, and they will probably be short notice and weather dependent. We would also like to work on a new plan for getting the word out about events...maybe an email list or text list or both. What do you think? Ideally we would eventually move away from social media altogether. We (LikeAParty) don't want to spend our time engaging online. We're not interested in creating content. We don't want to spend our time and energy and money on marketing. What we do want to do is devote all of our time and energy into throwing the best parties that we possibly can. That's where our passion lies. So, if you have any ideas to help us achieve that, send us a DM, and we'll hopefully eventually find it amongst the endless scam mail that we regularly have to deal with.
In the meantime, there is no shortage of upcoming events in the CBRM. This scene is on the rise, and it's great to see the cooperation between all of the different entities involved. Big thanks to the other promoters that support our events on the regular. Looking forward to what you guys have planned for the summer!

With heavy hearts, we have made the decision to cancel this event. The recent snowfalls have caused some structural damage to parts of the Curling Club. We are not sure of the extent of the damage, and there is a chance that they will reopen by tomorrow, but at this point we are running out of time and thought this to be the best course of action. We had our fingers crossed and things were looking good, but the stars aren't aligning in time.
I'm sure a lot of people are ready to shake off the past couple of weeks; we certainly were. Our next scheduled event is April 12th. If that changes we will let you know. Follow this page for updates and let your friends know.
In the meantime, our friends at Fortress Events are throwing another party at Daniel's on Saturday March, 2nd, which is just around the corner. Be sure to check it out!
Hopefully everyone is doing OK. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Big thanks to everyone that came out on Friday night for LAP 004. Packed dance floor and top-notch energy all night. You guys make it worth it!

Thanks to the DJs, Curling Club staff, volunteers, and everyone else behind the scenes that makes these events run smooth every time.

Next event is November 10th, followed by the last one of the year on December 29th. Tickets for November will be available soon.
We're going to try and increase our pre-sales this time around by running a little contest. All tickets purchased at least 1 week in advance of the event will be entered in a draw for 2 free tickets. So if you purchase 3 tickets, you'll be entered 3 times. Pre-sales of tickets gives us a bit of flexibility, helps us make decisions earlier, and helps the Curling Club (or any venue/event/promoter) prepare efficiently; and don't forget, you also save a few dollars.

You can also help us keep these dance parties successful by sharing this page with your friends, ensuring that we're able to keep everyone updated on future events. We really appreciate this and promise to keep our posts relevant and spam-free.

Big thanks to everyone that came out last night! It was another resounding success, despite the recent weather. Big thanks to all of the artists and staff that worked hard to make this happen.
Big thanks to the Sydney Curling Club for their hospitality.
The feedback from the last two shows has been incredibly encouraging, and we're motivated to keep going. It is a pleasure to share our time and energy with such a respectful and welcoming crowd.
