Happy Philippines Independence Day 🇵🇭

Celebrating our heritage by looking back at our daughters' weddings. Each unique, yet embraced their Filipino culture in different ways.

❤️ Slide 2 - Yaz is wearing a modern Filipiniana bolero jacket with butterfly puffed sleeves

💙 Slide 3 - A Catholic wedding ceremony with the Filipino tradition of the candle, veil and cord ritual to light the couple's path, shelter them from harm and keep them close as husband and wife.

💛 Slides 4 and 5 - The Barong Tagalog is the go-to formal and semi-formal attire in Filipino culture for weddings and special events. It is made of pineapple or banana leaf fibres.
