I said at the end of last year I wanted to take my time in 2026 and spend more time in the garden and less time doing admin and social media posts. With the never ending winter it’s only really been the last week or so where real work has happened. There is change ahead. Good change. Nurturing the essence of this space and facilitating healing is what has been at the very heart of the property. Today, the awesome Annaleigh and I slayed the installation of the new Forest art. Using all materials found around us we managed to complete, what I believe, is a beautiful piece of enhanced nature. What do you think? ♻️

We have some news about the upcoming season at Vive Lavender Farm.

Last year was a huge success and we are grateful for all our wonderful guests who have visited and enjoyed the experience we provide. I must say though, it was incredibly tiring for myself as all the work of preparation, baking, creating falls on one person. So I decided no longer to offer Afternoon Teas.

It has been a long, hard winter for many people and I am no exception. What I believed retirement would bring is not what my mind needs, during the winter at least! I love to create and be busy.

With that being said and with an overwhelming number of requests, I have made a decision to offer a few dates in JULY only for Afternoon Teas, keeping the workload more manageable and also offering more time to spend in the garden with guests. Those dates will be released in the coming weeks.

We will be open as usual for Lavender but I am thrilled to announce that our quaint little cabin store will now feature beautiful gifts for the garden lovers out there. A passion of mine.

In the past, many visitors have asked to buy items that we have used for props in so I made a decision to offer exquisitely unique, practical, thoughtful choices for guests to purchase. Antique, vintage, home decor, food and so much more.

Once we open for the season we also hope to offer Cream Teas on the weekend for guests, no reservation needed.

Here's a great opportunity for those looking to take Mom out for a special celebration and bring home a lovely little keepsake, your very own Tea Cup Planter.

Carly of is hosting a special GLUTEN-FREE Afternoon Tea on May 3rd at her beautiful store in downtown Uxbridge.

I have been invited to provide my homebaked goodies that guests have come to enjoy.

What's included? You will be served three savoury finger sandwiches with fresh veggies, two english scones with Bounty from the Boonies own Strawberry Rhubarb Sunshine Jam and real Devon Clotted Cream followed by Fresh Berry Cheesecake, Double Chocolate Brownies plus fresh fruit, and a choice of fresh tea to wash it all down.

After eating, don an apron for some plant fun with Carly as she uses a gorgeous china cup to create a keepsake succulent planter with decorative rocks and personalized wooden sign.

Sittings are 11am and 2pm.

The lovely Carly from Bounty from the Boonies talked me into preparing a Mothers Day tea on May 3rd at her beautiful store.

I made the exception of an offsite Afternoon Tea as this is an all gluten-free experience and I love working with extraordinarily wonderful people.

The 2pm sitting is almost full but check with Carly to book.

It will be a super fun time and a cute keepsake too.

I always have to explain this, so here’s a good description

Tea and scones served with clotted cream and strawberry jam is known as A Cream Tea.

There is regional debate when it comes to the assembling of scones, Devonshire style is clotted cream first, then strawberry jam and Cornish style is strawberry jam first, then clotted cream.

As I sit surrounded by a white landscape, warming from the frigid temperatures outside, it’s nice to look back at late summer. There is much planning going on here. Musings, creative thinking, lively conversations and an excitement of what’s to come this year.
