🍂🤎 There is always something to be grateful for. 🤎🍂

This Thanksgiving, I wanted to give back to a place that holds a very special place in my heart.

Over the past 15 years, my workplace has become so much more than just that. It has become my second family. A place where I have crossed paths with so many incredible people, many of whom I now have the privilege and honour of calling friends.

People who have enriched my life in ways they may never fully realize. Who have inspired me, taught me, made me laugh, and reminded me that the greatest richness in life is found not in what we have, but in the relationships we nurture and the connections we share.

Every balloon, flower, and little detail was thoughtfully chosen to create a space that reflects the warmth, gratitude, and sense of belonging I feel there.

Creating this little corner of gratitude was my way of giving back to a place and people who have given me so much. ❤️

May we never lose sight of the countless blessings that surround us, especially the people who make our lives richer, our days brighter, and our hearts fuller.

Grateful for health, happiness, family, friendships, and the abundance of creativity the universe continues to bless me with. For the opportunity to pursue my passions, create beautiful things, and do work that brings meaning and purpose to my life.

And to every client who has chosen Events by MJ — thank you. In a world filled with so many talented creatives and endless options, the fact that you choose to trust me with your special moments is something I never take for granted. Your support allows me to continue doing what I love, and for that, I am truly grateful.

A little birthday magic waiting at home. 🧚🏼‍♀️🌿🦋

My beautiful nieces, Katarina & Sofia, both celebrated their birthdays while away in Europe this summer — Katarina turned 11 and Sofia turned 7. So naturally, I couldn’t let them come home without a little birthday magic waiting for them. 💕

I wanted their surprise to feel like stepping straight into an enchanted fairy garden — soft pinks and greens, cascading greenery, butterflies, fairies and just a little bit of whimsy everywhere you look.

Because being an auntie means birthdays still count even when you’re on the other side of the world. 🥰

🌪️ When your 5-year-old asks for Spiderman, Roblox AND a tornado…

You make it happen. ❤️

This might just be the most personal Events by MJ setup I’ve ever created — because this one was for my own little guy, Tristan, who turned FIVE! 🥹

His requests were very specific: Roblox, Spider-Man… and, most importantly, a TORNADO. 🌪️😂

Rather than choosing one theme, I wanted to bring his little world to life and create something completely unique to him.

The tornado was absolutely the star of this design. Built entirely from balloons it became the statement piece I envisioned — surrounded by stormy greys, metallic silver, deep navy and those bold superhero reds. ⚡️

Comic-book details, his favourite characters tucked into the tornado, the Roblox-inspired Spider-Man, and that dramatic balloon installation brought all of his favourite things together into one wonderfully chaotic little world.

It was bold. It was different. It was a little crazy.
And it was so Tristan. ❤️

Creating beautiful events is always special, but there is something pretty incredible about getting to use what I love to create a little bit of magic for the person I love most.

Happy 5th Birthday, Tristan. Mommy loved bringing your wild little vision to life. 🌪️🕷️❤️
