Here are 13 things we make sure to cover in a rehearsal:
1. Where everyone will stand and how to stand
2. Where VIPs (like parents etc) will sit
3. Processional: the order for walking, spacing and even how to walk
4. How to NATURALLY link arms while holding your bouquet
5. What to do when you get to the top of the aisle (and not just brides and grooms)
6. The fluffing of the dress
7. Where does your bouquet go during the ceremony AND during the signing
8. The handing off of the rings
9. Where “Readers” should stand
10. How to smoothly go to the signing and return to your spot.

Often couples jump right to thinking about a seating plan but it is much easier to have a game plan for your tables before you start thinking about who is sitting next to who.

The first thing to consider is the shape of your tables. The size and shape will dictate how many guests can be seated at each one. When it comes to reception layout and table shapes, typically there are four standard options: Round, rectangle, oval, and square. Different table shapes have their own benefits, too.

Rectangular tables can fit a greater seated capacity into a space, and it's easier for guests to talk across them.

Round tables, on the other hand, are the most traditional option and afford your guests more legroom.
