Can we normalise matching pet tattoos because M&D did this, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it 🧡🐕

They got matching tattoos of their fur baby and honestly it’s the most personal, most genuine thing I’ve seen a couple do - no trends, no inspo board, just completely and unapologetically them.

This is the kind of thing I want more of.

Not perfectly styled. Just real and personal and so clearly who they are as a couple.

Also, I went home after the wedding and asked my husband if we could get matching tattoos.

He said no.

So here we are 🤷🏻‍♀️

Getting engaged is supposed to feel exciting, and for most couples it does…right up until the moment planning actually starts and it’s not clear where to begin or what comes first 😭

The overwhelm doesn’t come from the wedding being too big.

It comes from NOT having a structure that tells you exactly what to do and when.

If you just got engaged and want to plan your entire wedding without the last-minute chaos, comment S2W👇🏼

The Set To Wed Playbook walks you through everything from the very beginning. Every decision, every timeline, every step - so you’re always ahead of it, never scrambling to catch up.

Most couples start wedding planning with a lot of energy and not a lot of direction 😵‍💫

You’re engaged, you’re excited, and everything feels possible 💍🎉

You save venues, follow vendors, make a Pinterest board, and tell yourself the real planning starts soon…

And then soon arrives and it’s not clear where to actually begin.

So you research more.
Compare more.
Add more to the board.
And slowly the excitement starts feeling like pressure.

This ISN’T a you problem. It’s a sequencing problem.

Wedding planning has a natural order 👉🏼 decisions that need to happen first so every decision after them is easier.

When couples skip that order, not because they’re careless but because nobody showed them what it was, everything starts to feel heavier than it should.

Comment ROADMAP and I’ll send you the 12-step wedding planning roadmap. THE exact sequence of decisions, in the right order, so planning feels clear from the very first step 🙌🏼

R&C’s wedding day will always have such a special place in my heart 💕

Their wedding took place at a private intimate estate in London, and the whole day felt personal in the best way. From the garden ceremony to the thoughtful details woven throughout the celebration, everything felt so true to them and the kind of life they were building together.

And now, getting to see their family grow makes it even sweeter 👶🏼🥹

That’s one of the most special parts of this job. You don’t just get to be there for one day. You get to witness the beginning of a new chapter, and sometimes, you get to quietly cheer them on as life keeps unfolding after the wedding day too.

Forever grateful I got to be part of this one 🧡

You know that weird feeling when you found a vendor you “should” be excited about, but something still feels slightly off?

Their work is beautiful.
Their pricing is within budget.
They were nice on the call.
And technically, nothing is “wrong,” so you keep telling yourself you’re probably just overthinking it.

But here’s the part I want you to pay attention to…

How a vendor communicates before you book is usually a preview of how they’ll communicate after you book.

If you already feel like you’re chasing them for answers, waiting days for a simple reply, rereading vague emails, or trying to decode what’s actually included, that’s not something to brush off just because their portfolio or socials are pretty.

Because once the deposit is paid and you’re closer to the wedding, unclear communication doesn’t magically become clearer.

It usually becomes more stressful.

So before you sign the contract, don’t just ask, “Do I like their work?”

Ask, “Do I trust how they work?”

And if you don’t know what to look for before you sign, that’s exactly why I created the Set To Wed Playbook.

Comment S2W👇🏼 and I’ll send it to you.

There are 2 types of couples in the middle of wedding planning…

1️⃣ The ones who feel like they’re ahead of it
2️⃣ The ones who feel like it’s always one step ahead of them

The difference almost never comes down to how organized they are or how much time they have.

It comes down to whether they started with a clear plan or started with enthusiasm and figured the rest out later.

Comment ROADMAP below👇🏼and I’ll send you the 12-step wedding planning roadmap - every phase, every milestone, every step in the right order so you’re never behind on something you didn’t know was coming.

Most couples don’t think of Costa Rica as a wedding destination 🇨🇷💃🏻

They think of rainforest hikes, ocean views, volcanoes, wildlife, adventure, and the kind of trip you talk about for years after you come home.

But the thing is, that’s exactly why it works so well for the right couple.

Because your wedding doesn’t have to feel like one formal day that everyone flies in for, attends, and leaves.

It can feel like a full experience.

The welcome dinner feels more intentional because everyone has already stepped out of their normal routine.

The wedding day feels more connected because the setting is already doing half the emotional work.

And the trip itself becomes part of the memory, not just something wrapped around the event.

So before you book another venue tour just because it feels like the “next step,” it might be worth asking yourselves:

Do we want a wedding day…
or do we want a wedding experience?

Comment COSTA RICA if you want your wedding to feel like an experience👇🏼
