Ceremony moments for Shania + Nathan 💛
If I had to pick a word, I would take a long time thinking about it, but I think 'joy' sums it up. I wrote a custom script outlining their love story, which saw them meet in Australia - then they simply haven't stopped making the most out of life since. We had a surprise ring bearer, and the couple played scissors paper rock to decide who would say their vows first.

PS - Shania and I joked about sharing the same brain but she literally bought me a yellow gift because she said I'm sunshine, BUT I THINK SHE IS SUNSHINE and also associate her with yellow. I love you.

I love a local wedding.
I love living in Squamish, and I love bumping into the couples I've married at a cafe, the farmers market, the crag, or in the gym.... (or one time, literally under a helicopter as I got into the heli they got out of, haha)
I was SO excited when Saskia + Paul reached out about the wedding they'd host in their backyard, and I wrote a custom script for them. Their sweet dog roamed in the ceremony, and Saskia's smile made my heart warm. Congratulations, you gorgeous humans!

That’s a wrap on the 2026 peak season!
I fly to Australia today for a quick trip, to be Maid of Honor for my oldest friend. We met when we were four years old!
I’ll still be checking emails while I’m away, but replies may be a little slower as I soak up family time and stay present for the wedding. I’ll be back in October for my fall couples.

I’m so grateful for another incredible season. It’s never lost on me that couples are trusting me with such an important moment in their lives, and I feel cliche saying it's an 'honor' but there is no other word.
And one of the things I’m most grateful for is the vendor community here. There is so much talent in the Sea to Sky, and I feel incredibly lucky to work in the corridor where the couple, collaboration and community come first. You're all legends!

A Sea to Sky wedding for Rob + Emilie 🤍
I had the joy of performing a custom ceremony for these two, telling the story of how they first met through a rather convenient loophole. While at university, the house they lived in had a strict “no boyfriend sleepovers” rule.
Turns out, if you fall in love with your housemate, the rule doesn’t really apply! 11yrs later, after a whole lot of life, love and milestones together, they got married surrounded by their fave people on top of a mountain!

And with an incredible vendor team bringing it all together ✨

Working in a community like Squamish is so special because there are always these funny little connections.
N+M reached out, only for us to discover we had plenty of mutual friends… and that, years ago, I’d even dropped my best friend’s dog off at their house when they were neighbours 😂
For their wedding, I got to wear two hats: writing and performing a completely custom ceremony for them, and helping coordinate the day so they could just enjoy it all. Such a sweet one to be part of 🧡
