The beautiful forest and trees were a perfect backdrop for this couple. The groom once wrote a poem for the bride, about a tree and a raindrop - I paraphrased it in their ceremony, saying
"The tree reaches a little higher, and the raindrop finds somewhere to land"

One of my favorite parts of a ceremony is glancing out at the guests, and seeing their genuine reactions to witnessing people they love go through an important milestone. A huge cheesy smile or dabbing away of tears - it's an immense privilege to hold my couple's story as they step into marriage, and one I'll never take for granted.

I'm so stoked a photo of this couple gets to live on my feed now, what a freakin' hoot! I don't know if officiants are allowed to say freakin' but if you were there, you would freakin' say it too.

Marrying couples is one of the greatest privileges of my life. These two trusted me with that honor, along with telling their stroy + setting the tone for their day.
PS - the curved ceremony seating is a yes from me.

Viv + Lucas reached out to me a few weeks before they wanted to tie the knot, to coincide with family visiting from overseas. I brought together an amazing vendor team, and off we went. The weather gave us a bit of everything: cloud, light sprinkles, and finally, some beams of sun! These two embraced whatever came as they said 'I do'
