HAPPY MONDAY!

*Reminder no dance this week.

We’re embracing a much needed break. We’ve had 20 dances in 2026 and our average was 35 dancers per night! Great job everyone!

I want to be fully transparent with ya’all.

The entrance fees and dance passes have gone towards:
-Venue fees
-DJs
-Musicians
-Facilitators
-Professional level sound equipment purchases and upgrades.

This isn’t my full-time job or designed to deepen my own pockets. My role is to make sure these stay consistent and sustainable. I’ve invested a lot of my own time and money into this passion, and it fills me with joy to see everyone embracing dance every week.

We are switching venues for the summer to embrace our connection to nature and dancing under the sky!

With this comes a few changes so stay in the loop for next week. (JUNE 4th Don Ross Middle School 7:30pm)

I’ll kick off the summer with a juicy, medicinal dance set and am happy to offer a “bring a friend for free” opportunity for pass holders. Let’s fill the field up!!

If you’re interested in joining our volunteer team please connect with me. I’m organizing a volunteer bbq on June 3rd to extend my gratitude and get organized for the summer!

Volunteering this summer consists of:
-Set up ~ 30mins of preparation
-Door people ~ welcoming and checking in dancers
-Clean up ~30mins at the end of the night

A few folks have reached out about offering a dance and/or music journey. Please remind me and we can connect. As we all know we aim for a specific ark/journey and we want to keep the integrity and consistency while embracing unique taste and variety.

WOW, thanks for reading this so far.

A summer schedule will come out soon, we have a couple weeks off to accommodate for other events.

Another reminder, we’re organizing a weekend immersive event at a spot in the Squamish Valley at an old camping spot that we fully cleaned and restored last summer. Embracing the summer solstice with each other. Connecting with each other and the land through dance, art, poetry, saunas, yoga, and more! Looking for more collaborations!!

Link is here, please register! No $ is required as it’s an event on crown land, but we appreciate any donations so we can purchase art supplies, snacks, tea, and continue to chip away at our sound system.

It’s Monday!

Excited to have this duo together to co-create an evening for us all! We’ve got Graham facilitating for his first time at DT and also offering a sound bath after Ashleigh plays a set for us!

Miss PIdgeon:

Inspired to become a DJ through her own deep relationship with dance as a non-negotiable practice for processing life, Ashleigh’s understanding of the ecstatic dance arc has been shaped first through the experience of being a dancer herself. Feeling called toward sound through both intuition and a deep connection to her late father and ancestral lineage, she now weaves together organic house, tribal rhythms, global sounds, deep bass, and heart-opening melodies to create grounded and emotionally expansive dance journeys rooted in embodiment, release, connection, and collective joy.

Graham Zell:

Graham is a facilitator and space-holder who works at the interplay between light and dark, sound and silence, dance and stillness. He has been working for some years to help men experience higher-quality relationships with themselves and each other, and in the process discovering ways to be more kind, more patient, and to hold larger and larger containers. He learned something of sound medicine while traveling Nepal in 2024, and is honored to be offering the opening and closing to the container with his words and his singing bowls, respectively.

We are still at our regular spot and time this week! Arrive a tad early if you’d like to help set up chairs. We try to make the space o conversation-free zone quickly after set-up to invite everyone to drop in and ground with ourselves.

Happy Monday!

Get ready to dance it out this week👌Last week’s session was potent and we can all feel the dancing spring energy around us.

After a 3-year hiatus from Dance Temple, Firefox is excited to be joining us once more. He’s one of those DJs that has tunes for any occasion - whether you’re looking to access your wild, primal side and howl at the moon, or float on a cloud into a blissful dreamworld. His sets are like a classic box of chocolates - the full spectrum from fluffy vanilla flavors, sweet caramel gooeyness, and cocoa-loco dark chocolate. He likes nothing more than taking you on a journey, so prepare to forget the outside world right from the tender start, burst open at the euphoric peak, and glide through to an ethereal finish.

He’ll be joined by Farrah Theresa. She is a poet and singer-songwriter with a gift for crafting medicinal lyrics that explore grief, love, hope, and self-discovery. A natural community organizer and connector, she weaves worlds together through her creative expression and collaborations. Farrah is the lead guide of Medicine Poetry, an online community of writers and creatives, where she cultivates spaces for expression, healing, and connection. She is now seeking collaborations with kindred spirits to keep bringing poetry, music, and shared creativity to the heart of our communities.

We are still at our regular spot and time this week! Arrive a tad early if you’d like to help set up chairs. We try to make the space o conversation-free zone quickly after set-up to invite everyone to drop in and ground with ourselves.

We are moving outdoors June 4th and starting a bit later in the evening. 7:30 will be the new start time come June and we’ll be doing a light tailgate bbq/dinner before hand! Stay tuned for more info!

A collaboration with Enliven Wellness Festival to step into an evening of connection, expression, and movement!

He’ll be followed by Gin Perry for special Shamanic Sound Journey.

Māh Ze Tār is propelled by the vision of fusing traditional eastern music with modern electronic
composition as a form of cultural preservation. Each Māh Ze Tār set is uniquely dynamic
-
The listener can expect to hear the ancient sounds of the Sitar and Oud in one song and the timeless melodies of the Ney and Duduk in the next - bringing a kaleidoscope of emotions
through the wide plethora of ancient sounds, mesmerizing vocals, and hypnotic beats. The sounds of distant lands are served on a platter of familiar body moving bass lines and
thumping grooves. Māh Ze Tār is an active performing member of Balkan Bump and has had significant musical collaborations with Desert Dwellers, David Starfire, Jef Stott, Morillo, Akriza,
Nyrus, Adham Shaikh, and many others.

Happy Monday!

Excited to announce this week’s session! We’re still indoors!

We’re welcoming back Mai to guide us in our dancing rhythm and Ryan Fletcher to help us land!

Magdalena, originally from Latin America (Chile), creates sensory sound journeys shaped by the places she has traveled, and those she has dreamed. Her path is about collecting sounds from around the world, from the Andes and their earthy rhythms to tribal, oriental, and experimental landscapes. Her sets flow like currents, inviting movement and connection, carrying you from the brightness of joy and vital pulse into the depths of strength, intense energy, and the dark, transformative spaces within.

Ryan has been an intuitive handpan player since first being drawn to the instrument in late 2019. Based in Squamish, his style focuses on a grounded, improvisational approach that leans into the natural resonance of the steel. He draws direct inspiration from the ruggedness of the local forests, mountains and rivers, trading polished performance for a raw, honest exchange of sound and vibration. By leaning into intuitive flow, Ryan tries to create a centered space for sound that is deeply rooted in the landscape and the reality of the moment.

Happy Monday!

Looking forward to dancing with everyone again this week! Come join us! We are still indoors for now.

We have Benoit facilitating the evening with Marco DJing! Get ready to dance! After the Dj set, Benoit will wind everyone down with his beautiful voice and sweet songs.

Polo (Marco Stohn)
Throughout his often musical inspired journeys to gatherings all over europe like Boom, Ozora and Modem festival Polo got inspired by many different subgenres of electronic music and artists from various different cultures.
He discovered that music and dancing unites the people in a very unique and special way and makes him find a piece of home in every corner of the world.

Benoit Forest
He is an active organizer for Dance Temple Squamish and an integral part of this beautiful container. He brings his heart and soul to the space every night and creates an intentional and inclusive container. He organizes vocal workshops and creates harmonies at every chance he gets.

Looking forward to another sweet evening. Please pre-register to help out our door folks. SNACKS AND MINGLES at the end!
