We’re on for August 6th!

Excited to co-create a container of movement, expression, and flow with everyone.

We have special guests from Guatemala coming this week including a very dear friend Lysh who has DJ’d for us a lot in the past. Super excited to have her back in the space and bringing new friends to help curate the evening!

“Echoes on the Bridge” is a musical group curating movement and dance experiences through music. They’re offering a facilitated dance experience with specially curated, pre-recorded DJ set.

Blending the styles of Ecstatic Dance, 5Rhythms, and Biodanza, each set is a thoughtfully crafted journey; curated by dancers, for dancers.

Stretch. Move. Dance.

Immerse yourself in the music, and discover where the journey takes you.

He has earned a reputation for his ability to connect with audiences and curate diverse musical experiences. With a deep understanding of crowd dynamics and a passion for eclectic electronic music, Steintology creates captivating atmospheres that leave lasting impressions.

We’re on for July 2nd!

Excited to co-create a container of movement, expression, and flow with everyone.

Summer is a busy time! Our presence is so valuable. Thank you in advance for coming with your presence, attention, and intentionality. Whether we’re a small or big crew, each week is so special. The tenderness and compassion from all the dancers is so inspiring to me. We’ll have our full off-grid professional sound rig again this week to bring the medicine deep into our bones!

This week we’ve got me (Bretton) back on the decks! This summer has been full of different gigs for me and I’ve been busy in curating a variety of dance experiences which has allowed for so much growth. Thank you so much to everyone who’s been with me on the journey!!

SOULar sound aka Bretton (he/him) brings unique, diverse, and intricate balance to his sets. Expect a worldly instrumental journey with warm inviting vocals and groovy, hip moving beats. As a devoted dancer and lover of music, he thrives on creating his flow from the dancers themselves and the intention of the space. Get ready to move your body and root down to the earth with his rhythmic, tribal, and spacious sounds.

We’re back outdoors again this week! Looks beautiful in the forecast! It’s a busy summer already but we’re still offering a weekly practice. Thanks to everyone for making it happen.

Don Ross middle school, upper back field. We have a cozy corner with lots of space. a circular surround sound experience, it’s lovely. Come help us set up if you’re able and free :)

LO is taking us on a dance journey. Laurie is a local DJ and DT volunteer. He is intertwined with a few different DJ collectives and is active in bringing people together here in Squamish and beyond. Stoked to have him!

Lo is a creative outlet driven by traditional Celtic, Latin and Eastern influence. He invites you to allow the sounds of playful pipes, haunting strings, timeless vocals and worldly tribal basslines move through you to entangle you with deep, dark and melodic grooves.

HAPPY MONDAY!

*Reminder no dance this week.

We’re embracing a much needed break. We’ve had 20 dances in 2026 and our average was 35 dancers per night! Great job everyone!

I want to be fully transparent with ya’all.

The entrance fees and dance passes have gone towards:
-Venue fees
-DJs
-Musicians
-Facilitators
-Professional level sound equipment purchases and upgrades.

This isn’t my full-time job or designed to deepen my own pockets. My role is to make sure these stay consistent and sustainable. I’ve invested a lot of my own time and money into this passion, and it fills me with joy to see everyone embracing dance every week.

We are switching venues for the summer to embrace our connection to nature and dancing under the sky!

With this comes a few changes so stay in the loop for next week. (JUNE 4th Don Ross Middle School 7:30pm)

I’ll kick off the summer with a juicy, medicinal dance set and am happy to offer a “bring a friend for free” opportunity for pass holders. Let’s fill the field up!!

If you’re interested in joining our volunteer team please connect with me. I’m organizing a volunteer bbq on June 3rd to extend my gratitude and get organized for the summer!

Volunteering this summer consists of:
-Set up ~ 30mins of preparation
-Door people ~ welcoming and checking in dancers
-Clean up ~30mins at the end of the night

A few folks have reached out about offering a dance and/or music journey. Please remind me and we can connect. As we all know we aim for a specific ark/journey and we want to keep the integrity and consistency while embracing unique taste and variety.

A summer schedule will come out soon, we have a couple weeks off to accommodate for other events.

Another reminder, we’re organizing a weekend immersive event at a spot in the Squamish Valley at an old camping spot that we fully cleaned and restored last summer. Embracing the summer solstice with each other. Connecting with each other and the land through dance, art, poetry, saunas, yoga, and more! Looking for more collaborations!!
