Oh, the Places We'll Read & Create!

Join us for a fun-filled morning of stories, creativity, and imagination!

MY LOVE, The Moon, in partnership with the Township of McMurrich/Monteith, invites children and their families to our Read & Create Activity Day on Tuesday, July 14th from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

We'll enjoy a Dr. Seuss story together and then create a themed craft inspired by the book. This free activity is a wonderful opportunity for children to explore their creativity, make new friends, and enjoy quality time with their parent or guardian.

Volunteers Needed for SummerFest 2026!

We’re gearing up for another amazing Sprucedale SummerFest, happening Friday evening, July 24 & Saturday, July 25, and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make it all happen!
From our exciting Lawn Tractor Races to the concert, vendor market, kids’ activities, and more, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Whether you can lend a hand for a few hours or the whole event, we’d love to have you join our team.

Join us for Youth Lounge Movie Day, held on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 PM. June's featured screening showcases A Short Film About Tegan & Sara by Ann Marie Fleming, a four-minute animated portrait of the iconic twin musicians and activists. The film explores the journey of Tegan and Sara, highlighting their growth as artists, sisters, and advocates for the LGBTQ+ community. Enjoy an inspiring afternoon of film, discussion, and a cool activity at the library.
