Owner & Executive Chef's Michael Thomas & Robert Vandenberg and their crew are fully certified “Red Seal Chefs.” Michael and Robert’s 40 combined years of hotel, banquet and institutional experience have been trusted in the film industry for the past 8 years. Ocean West Catering understands the importance of flexibility! We are prepared to accept any culinary or logistical challenge as we are aware of what the film industry demands.

As qualified dietitians, Michael and Robert are professionally trained to accommodate special dietary concerns and are sensitive to people with allergies, various medical conditions and specific lifestyle choices. Michael and Robert are experienced food stylists and are available for film and or photo shoots.

For productions with smaller budgets, we offer affordable, alternative selections; we offer choices ranging from production office lunches, hot dropped “chaffer services”, sandwiches and lunch boxes. For those with the luxury of a higher budget, we would be pleased to put together custom options to suit your executive clients and crew.
