A great evening catering for the Town of South Bruce Peninsula Staff Christmas. Such a wonderful group to serve a hot turkey and roast beef dinner to. Unfortunately, due to weather, there were a few who missed out but we really enjoyed the compliments received from those in attendance.
For myself it was so wonderful seeing so many friends and catching up with them.
Huge thank you to Sharon and Sandi for their hard work helping make a great evening with lots of laughs at ourselves and one another. The two of you make my job so much easier!

Wedding season 2024 was short but enjoyable. It is time to concentrate on the smaller events coming up.
I have made the difficult decision to not cater events larger than 50 attendees. This country cook, after 20+ years, is ready to take a break and let the much younger caterers enjoy the large events.
Revving up for some events scheduled for September, October and November and of course, there are the Christmas parties that we really enjoy catering.
Thanks to Gail, Sandi, and Sharon for all your hard work and keeping me sane and laughing.

Wedding Season 2023 has come to an end with a beautiful wedding at the SBCC. Congratulations Tamara and Dale!
Now for a short break and then into Christmas events.
Big thanks to the amazing ladies who work with me for their support and hard work. Gail, Sandi and Sharon, you are the best and keep me sane and laughing even when I'm exhausted at the end of the day!

Catered a beautiful fall wedding at the Saugeen Municipal Airport yesterday! Congratulations, Crystal and Rodney! Wishing you both all the greatest that life can offer you!
So enjoyable meeting up with old friends (aunts of the bride) formerly of Hepworth that I hadn't seen for many years as well as my brother's brother-in-law and his lovely wife; a great surprise for them to see me there. lol
Served the evening buffet (poutine) from Crystal's food truck - Fired Up Grilled In Action; which was a fantastic experience.
Always enjoy receiving compliments on the food and can't say enough thanks to the ladies who work with me - Sandi Monahan, Sharon Blue and Gail Mervyn. You ladies are the best!!!!
This completes our 2022 Wedding Season and what an amazing one it was. A small rehearsal dinner this week and then I'm going to take some time off and rest my tired old body. 🙂

Catered a beautiful wedding in the Walter's Falls area today! Congratulations Niki (McArthur) and Colin Ormsby!
Amazing guests and so much fun, with lots of laughs, enjoying the many compliments on the food.

Looking forward to next weekend when we cater for a former Hepworth gal at the Saugeen Regional Airport!!!!

Catered a beautiful wedding at Spring Creek Gavel Farm Sunday! Congratulations Torey (Barfoot) and Phil Dempsey!
A long day with cocktail hour, dinner and evening buffet for 167 guests. Amazing guests who were so much fun to chat with and enjoyed the many compliments on the food.
Thanks to my amazing helpers - Sharon, Lindsay, Larissa, Rose and Sandi.
Looking forward to a week and weekend off before we head back to cater a smaller wedding in Walter's Falls area.

Catered a beautiful outdoor wedding yesterday at the groom's aunt's home. Rain held off til after their wedding and all were in the tent.
Congratulations Ally and Ben Kanmacher! Wishing you all the best in your married life.
Enjoyed seeing family, friends and neighbours.
Lots of compliments on the food, which is always wonderful to hear, especially on a steamy day.
