🍂 A little Thanksgiving THANK YOU from us to you! 🧡

As Thanksgiving gets closer, we’ve been thinking about how lucky we are to have such amazing support here in Souris. Whether you come through our doors for flowers, tanning, or a visit to HAZE, every one of you helps support our little collection of local businesses — and we appreciate it more than you know. 🥰

So this Friday, we’re going to have a little fun!

🎃 We’re picking a secret random customer number before we open.

Every customer who comes through the door on Friday counts — whether you’re here for HAZE, Plaza Petals, or Baked & Bronzed.

If YOU happen to be our secret number...

🌻 You’re going home with a Thanksgiving floral centerpiece arranged in a pumpkin for your table! 🎃💐

No entering. No liking or sharing required. Just come see us Friday and you might accidentally be the lucky one. 😂

Thank you, Souris, for continuing to shop local and support us. We truly couldn’t do what we do without you. 🧡

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us! 🍁

🍂 Forget pumpkin spice… THIS is how you know fall has officially arrived.

Girl Guide Thin Mints are here! 🍪💚

💵 $6 per box — CASH ONLY

Grab a box (or let’s be realistic… a few 😏) before they’re gone!

Because somehow one box of Thin Mints has never lasted as long as we think it will. 😂

🌸 Plaza Petals is turning 50! 🌸
1976–2026. Fifty years of flowers, celebrations, goodbyes, weddings, babies, birthdays and everyday “just because” moments in Souris.
That's a pretty incredible milestone — and we've realized there are pieces of Plaza Petals' 50-year story that even we don't know.
So we're asking for your help. ❤️
Do you have an old photo of Plaza Petals? A wedding bouquet we made years ago? An old newspaper clipping or advertisement? Maybe you worked here, knew one of the previous owners, or simply have a favourite Plaza Petals memory.
We'd love to see it.
Dig through those photo albums, boxes in the basement and questionable Rubbermaid totes we all swear we're going to organize someday. 😂
Send us your photos and stories, bring them into the shop, or share your memories in the comments.
Over the next few months, we're going to celebrate 50 Years of Plaza Petals by looking back at the people, flowers and stories that have made this little Souris flower shop what it is today.
And who knows… maybe together we'll fill in a few missing pieces of our history along the way. 🌷
Here's to 50 years — and the people who made them possible.

🌿🏆 THE RESULTS ARE IN! 🏆🌿

Our Biggest W**d Competition is officially in the books — and WOW, Souris, you did not disappoint! 😂

We had 11 entrants bring in 13 w**ds, and we honestly can’t believe how awesome the turnout was. There were some seriously impressive w**ds in the bunch!

🏆 Tallest W**d:
A whopping 11.5 FEET TALL, brought in by Belinda West! 🤯

🏆 Longest Root:
Just over 11 INCHES, brought in by Loretta Turner!

🏆 Most Unique W**d:
A very cool gypsum w**d, brought in by Karen Kempe!

We will contact the winners to get your prizes to you!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who dug up a w**d, hauled it downtown, entered the competition, stopped by to check them out, and helped us choose our winners. 💚

What started as a silly little idea turned into such a fun part of Scarecrow Days — and we already know one thing…

🌿 WE’RE DOING IT AGAIN NEXT YEAR! 🌿

So maybe don’t get too ambitious with the w**d killer next summer. 😂

Congratulations to our winners, and thank you, Souris, for making our first Biggest W**d Competition such a success!

🌸 A LITTLE PLAZA PETALS HOUSEKEEPING! 🌸

As we continue making changes around here, we wanted to clear up how to find us and access Plaza Petals for the time being!

☀️ While we work on renovating the new Baked & Bronzed spray tanning room, access through that side of the building is temporarily closed.

🌿 For now, Plaza Petals customers can enter through the old Plaza Petals entrance, which is now the entrance to The Haze Company. Our Plaza Petals ordering station is located just behind Haze, and we're still here taking your flower orders as usual! 💐

One important thing to know: Because you need to enter through The Haze Company to reach us, anyone under 19 cannot come through that entrance.

👧🧒 Bringing someone under 19 with you? No problem!
Just give us a call at 204-483-3174 when you arrive and we'll let you in through an alternate entrance so you can visit Plaza Petals without going through Haze.

💐 Custom flower orders are still available
🌷 Flowers are also available in our cooler anytime during Haze business hours - Open 7 days a week, 10am to 8pm.
📞 Call 204-483-3174 to place an order or if you need alternate access

Thank you for bearing with us while we get everything settled into its new home. There are lots of changes happening under one roof, but Plaza Petals is still here and ready to make something beautiful for you! 💕
