Are you ready to see some amazing dancing? Lindsay Delaronde & The Visible Bodies Collective is bringing it with "Sentience of the Unearthed: a land-based, eco-somatic performance exploring body, land, and memory through movement, story, and ritual."

Dance VictoriaVictoria, BC (Tickets on Eventbrite)
Sunday, June 21 • 4 PM - 5 PM
Overview
Visible Bodies in collaboration with Vitor Frietas, brings you Sentience of the Unearthed. A mythopoetic expression of the spirits movement.

Visible Bodies Collective is a multidisciplinary embodiment practice grounded within global Indigenous ways and knowing and being.

Rooted in somatic practice, structured improvisation, and land-based dramaturgy, the collective engages dance as a powerful vehicle for cultural resurgence, healing, and social justice.

In collaboration with Vitor Freitas, they present Sentience of the Unearthed (June 21)—a mythopoetic movement work exploring spiritual expansion, ancestral connection, and the transformative power of the body.

🎨This week ArtSea Gallery is excited to share the work of sister artists in "Hues by Hughes" ✨
Show Times: 10am – 4pm, daily June 5-11

Exhibition Details: Sisters Adrienne Hughes & Liz Hughes share a love of art, nature, & the language of colour – but their creative expressions dance to different rhythms. Liz, a mixed media abstract artist, approaches each piece like a visual excavation – layering collage, building textures, peeling back surfaces, and weaving in traces of her own photography. Her work becomes a conversation between lived experiences and materials. Working with acrylics and oils, Adrienne intuitively paints not just what she sees, but what she senses. Her canvases conjure a world just beneath the surface – where memory, mood and landscape blur into something wholly her own. Together, their work creates a striking contrast: two artistic visions nurtured by shared roots, each flourishing in their own distinct ways.
