The part most guests never see.
The early mornings. The careful packing. The flowers gathered on the way to a venue. The final placement of each bloom, candle, dessert cup, and cake stand before the doors open and the celebration begins.
These moments happen quietly—long before the first guest arrives and long after the design has been imagined.
From intimate dessert tables and family celebrations to elegant weddings and large-scale events across Northwestern Ontario, every creation begins the same way: with thoughtful preparation, attention to detail, and a desire to create something meaningful for the people it is intended to celebrate.
Looking through these photographs, I am reminded that this business has never been built alone. Many of these behind-the-scenes moments were captured by my Mom, who has spent countless hours cheering me on, helping where needed, and documenting parts of the journey that I might otherwise have forgotten.
There is something special about arriving at an empty venue and watching it transform. A room that is quiet one moment will soon be filled with laughter, conversation, dancing, and memories. For a brief moment, before the celebration begins, it feels as though time stands still.
These are some of my favourite moments—the ones guests rarely see, but the ones that remind me why I love what I do.
