🎨 C'est officiel : voici la programmation du Festival Hom'Art 2026!

Du 11 au 13 septembre, Shediac se transforme en grande toile vivante. Trois jours d'arts, de musique et de couleurs, au Parc Pascal-Poirier et au centre-ville !

Au menu : peinture en direct un peu partout en ville, artistes à la craie sur la rue Weldon, buskers et cirque de rue, ateliers créatifs (feutrage, broderie architecturale, rédaction créative et homard sur cèdre), spectacles de musique et bien plus.
À ne pas manquer : la soirée musicale sous la tente le vendredi avec Andy Bast et The Mainlanders (19+), le concert immersif Stop the Clock de Becky Reesor, la grande finale Éclat d’Art et le Marché des Arts du dimanche.

🎟️ Les billets pour les événements payants seront en vente dès demain, le vendredi 21 août, à 10 h.

🎨 It's official: the 2026 Hom'Art Festival program is here!

From September 11 to 13, Shediac becomes one big living canvas. Three days of art, music and colour at Pascal-Poirier Park and downtown!

On the program: live painting across town, chalk artists on Weldon Street, buskers and street circus, creative workshops (felting, architectural embroidery, creative writing and lobster-on-cedar painting), live music and so much more.
Don't miss: Friday's live music night under the tent with Andy Bast and The Mainlanders (19+), Becky Reesor's immersive Stop the Clock concert, the ArtLove grand finale and Sunday's Art Market.

🎟️ Tickets for ticketed events go on sale this Friday August 21rst at 10 AM.

Due to limited capacity, some of our free events and workshops still require a ticket or registration. Visit our website for details.

Chaque année, on prépare une vidéo souvenir, et chaque année, ça nous touche autant. Trois minutes et demie de pur bonheur. On se dit toujours qu'il n'y a pas moyen que la prochaine édition batte celle-là, et pourtant, c'est toujours le cas, parce que la famille, les amis, la bonne bouffe et la bonne musique, ça marche à chaque fois. C'est qui on est, et c'est vous, les visages familiers et les nouveaux amis qu'on se fait chaque année, qui rendez chaque édition meilleure que la précédente. Vous nous manquez déjà et on a hâte de vous revoir en 2027 ! 🦞❤️🦞

Every year we put together a recap video, and every year it gets us right in the feels. Three and a half minutes of pure bliss. We always think there's no way the next one can top it, and it always does, because family, friends, food and good tunes work every time. 🦞 MERCI à notre belle gang de bénévoles!

Près de 200 bénévoles, plus de 2 600 heures données de bon cœur pour faire briller le festival. Vous avez travaillé fort et vous avez fait de notre festival ce qu'il est : chaleureux, festif et amusant. 🧡

Un immense merci à nos groupes et associations de bénévoles :
Dance Envy, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 33, Shediac, Ignite Dance Collective, Integrity Home Health Services,Église historique de Barachois et la communauté philippine de Shediac Teresa Tugo.

Merci à nos bénévoles de la de cuisine qui ont nourri la foule, à nos bénévoles indépendants, et à chaque personne qui a donné un coup de main, dans l'ombre comme en première ligne. Chaque heure s'est transformée en musique, en homard frais et en souvenirs pour des milliers de visiteurs.

Sans vous, pas de festival. Vous êtes le cœur et les pinces de tout ça.

Nearly 200 volunteers, more than 2,600 hours given wholeheartedly to make the Lobster Festival shine. You worked hard and you made our festival what it is: warm, festive and fun. 🧡

A huge thank you to the groups and volunteer associations: Dance Envy, The Shediac Legion, Ignite Dance Association, Integrity Home Health and Services, the Barachois St-Henri Parish, and the Filipino community of Shediac.

Thank you to our kitchen crew who fed the crowds, to our independent volunteers, and to every single person who lent a hand, behind the scenes and on the front lines. Every hour turned into music, fresh lobster, and memories for thousands of visitors.

L’édition 2026 de notre festival est maintenant terminée, mais l’été est loin d’être fini chez nos amis du Pays de la Sagouine! Leur superbe programmation vous attend jusqu’au début de septembre.

Célébrer le homard, c'est aussi le protéger. Comme le veut la tradition à chaque dernière journée du Festival du homard de Shediac, 20 000 bébés homards ont été relâchés dans la baie de Shediac, grâce à la générosité de nos grands partenaires et collaborateurs, la Ville de Shediac et l'Union des pêcheurs des Maritimes (UPM/MFU).

Un merci tout spécial au Centre Homarus pour son travail remarquable et son dévouement envers la recherche et la conservation de notre joyau, le homard. 🦞❤️🦞

Celebrating lobster also means protecting it. As tradition holds on the final day of the Shediac Lobster Festival, 20,000 baby lobsters were released into Shediac Bay, thanks to the generosity of our major partners and collaborators, the Town of Shediac and the Maritime Fishermen's Union (UPM/MFU).

❤️🦞 Et voilà… la 77e édition du Festival du homard de Shediac est officiellement terminée !

Pendant les neuf derniers jours, Shediac et le sud-est du Nouveau-Brunswick a vibré au rythme de la musique, des rencontres, des manèges, des expériences culinaires et, bien sûr, du homard !

Comme le veut la tradition, nous devons livrer une TONNE de remerciements...

Un immense merci à nos bénévoles, qui donnent généreusement de leur temps et de leur énergie pour faire vivre le Festival. Merci à l'ensemble de nos partenaires, dont le soutien nous permet de faire grandir notre festival année après année. Merci à nos artistes, nos fournisseurs, nos équipes et à toutes les personnes qui travaillent dans l'ombre.

The last nine days had Shediac and southeastern New Brunswick buzzing with music, social gatherings, rides, culinary experiences, and, of course, lobster!
