Just a few shots. There was so much more food but who has time to take pictures when you're prepping everything in perfect time. Today was a special day for a very special couple who married each other again. A perfect example of what Easter is really about. And this charcuterie board was done by my creative sister Nicole René who's always a pleasure to have on my team for any event.

Confessions of a baker...🍪🧁🍰

I have a serious sweet tooth and often get cravings. This is both wonderful and problematic. The other day I had some leftover icing and made a carrot cake just so I could indulge.
I ate it for 2 days and then wanted it gone.
I called a friend who happily took it away.
Later that afternoon I made cheesecake 😋
My husband asked me, "Why did you give that cake away if you were just going to make more cake?"
My reply, "I don't want carrot cake anymore. Now I want cheesecake." 😆
Do you see the wonderful problem? 😬
Here I am baking again, this time for someone else. I decide to organize my freezer and discover containers of assorted baking. I knew they were there but combined I felt like a rescue mission was necessary. Thank God I have this friend who regularly eats all of my freezer desserts. I called her immediately, and just like the great friend I know she is, she came to my rescue and left with bags of dessert 🙌🥰🙏
She's moving in nine days 🥺
What am I going to do without her? 🤷

I just did a delivery this morning for two medium sized baked Mac and cheese with ham. I thought to myself, "I should do that again tomorrow. Maybe I'll make two large ones or six smaller ones."
Wildly enough, within seconds of having that thought, I had someone reach out and say, "What do you have?" I told them my random thoughts and they said, "I'll buy it all." Wow!

Some would call it the universe, some might say it's the good Lord. PTL!!!🙏🙌🎉
