Russell and I have been on an adventure! In February I bought us a romantic getaway 😆💕 to a dahlia hybridizing course at Triple Wren Farms which we attended yesterday! Our lovely hosts Sarah and Steve went above and beyond in the customer experience! In addition to the classroom work, we received the first copies of her new book, got to go out to her dahlia field and choose 2 plants to cross and will receive the seeds at Christmas (🤩) and had a beautiful long table dinner made with local ingredients with our classmates! Then off to wander the 100,000 dahlias during golden hour while she pointed out her favorites and ones that were not going to make the cut as new varieties.
Truly a magical day!

I’ll be coming home with a head full of dreams and of course a long list of must have varieties for next year 😂

We have some special guests coming our way with a big load of beautiful organic garlic ❤️
My Dad and Bev have been growing garlic for 18+ years in the beautiful Kootenay Valley and they sure know how to do it well. (Mine is never as big and pretty as Dads!)

This is your chance to meet them in person and get all of your questions answered. They will be selling garlic from our farm store and fielding questions on September 3 & 4th from 10am-2pm and again on Sept 5th from 6-7:30pm.
They are coming with Asian Tempest, Bogatyr and Russian Red and can give you all the ins and outs on each variety 😊 Plus we are running special pricing while they are here so pop by and get your garlic while you can!
No need to book an appointment but please come only during the times listed above ❤️

It’s our last day in person inside the Blue Building and we have come loaded with dahlias, cosmos, sunnies, zinnias and more!

We are also teaming up with the The Liminal Place Cafe to bring you a ‘Bestie Bundle’. It’s a sweet little arrangement paired with your drink of choice from The Liminal Place Cafe in a cute little to go package 💕
It’s makes a perfect Happy Saturday for a friend or coworker!

It feels like a blink and summer is nearly over! The kids are on their last days of summer holidays before school starts and the air this morning had fall vibes 🍂

Saturday is already our last day inside the Blue Building with the flower cart for the season! Make sure to stop by for an armload of gorgeous dahlias, sunnies in every colour and a rainbow of zinnias😊

It’s been a busy couple weeks at the farm!
Bouquet subscriptions, special orders, event florals, photoshoot florals, flower crowns, yoga, and our day at the market in the Blue Building!

August is our busiest month and I am so grateful to have enough work to be totally tuckered doing the thing I love ❤️

Thank you Peace Country for your orders, your connections, and encouragement. It means that I get to continue to deliver the joy brought by flowers to our community ❤️

Tomorrow night we are hosting the lovely Jen from Wiley James Hat Company in the garden💕 Guests are taking home a personalized palm leaf hat, taking in the sunset upick flower experience and Jeannie from A Counter Full is joined by us in her cheese truck to have our guests sample her artisan cheeses 🤤
Better yet? Qavah from QT_Photos is coming to capture the magic!

We had to reschedule last week which means we have a couple spots left if you want to join us!
