Nine years of partnership.

Proud to share that Crosscut Films is once again working with the North Battleford Generation Station on their Safety and Orientation Training Video.

This marks our ninth consecutive year collaborating together. Each year brings new priorities, and this latest version is a ground up refresh to reflect updated compliance measures and evolving safety messaging.

Long term partnerships like this don’t happen by accident. They’re built on trust, consistency, and a shared commitment to getting it right.

Grateful for the continued collaboration and looking forward to bringing this latest version to life.

A restored version of the classic opening titles from The Littlest Hobo, one of the most beloved Canadian television series of the 1980s.

This restoration was created from a vintage broadcast source and carefully cleaned up to improve clarity, color, and stability while preserving the original look of an early-1980s telecine master. The goal was not to modernize the footage, but to present it as audiences would have seen it during its original broadcast run — only with the damage and degradation of old analog copies reduced.

Originally airing from 1979 to 1985, The Littlest Hobo followed the adventures of a wandering German Shepherd named London who travelled from town to town helping people in need. Just when it seemed he might finally settle down, he would quietly move on to the next place where someone needed his help.

The series became a Canadian classic, remembered especially for its iconic theme song “Maybe Tomorrow” by Terry Bush.

Series: The Littlest Hobo (1979–1985)

If you enjoy classic television restorations, Canadian TV history, and vintage broadcast footage, feel free to subscribe. I occasionally restore and share archival material so these pieces of television history can be preserved and appreciated in better quality.

Hi everyone,

I’ve got some short-term availability this week and next and I’m taking on a couple of small, fast-turnaround video or edit jobs.

If you’ve got footage that needs tightening up, social versions, or a quick internal or promo piece, I can usually turn that around in a few days.

I’m aiming to keep things simple and in the $500–$1,000 range depending on scope.

If that’s useful, happy to jump on a quick call.

Can anyone guess where today's shoot has taken me? 😉
