I was told by my friends never touch politics again - but I will. On June 21, the beginning of summer, I posted a dancing video as I do, with flowers, entertaining yet with some meaning, saying how happy I am to survive Russia and Israel is a victim. I meant obviously the hostages, starting, in my opinion, the negative spiral — which are and were and any million numbers of genocide cannot deplete. Because it’s not about the numbers, and one crime doesn’t excuse another.
The backlash initiated by one Saskatoon ‘influenster’ almost destroyed me. To start life in Soviet Union bullied, and end, after 50 years, in a free country, with the same? But, to destroy me totally, you needed to know the things I went already through. So, you failed.
As you failed to support the cause you were cheering for with a real action, or donation of some kind (as I did when the war in Ukraine exploded) — only with commenting, trying to destroy someone, division — but nothing REAL or POSITIVE.
And, yes, I wasn’t anti Palestinian before — but you almost converted me into one. As you made me feel for Jewish people held responsible for actions of their government as they were held before, centuries, for everything, ended with the biggest tragedy of the 20th century, Holocaust.
This is what you achieved, nothing good, only destruction. And, upon the passing of Jane Goodall , I’m thinking, is there a hope for us people?
We were given so much — conscience, Homo Sapience — for free. It was a GIFT and we, obviously, took it for granted. We could make this planet a flourishing oasis with the gifts we were given — but we ended up with the planet torn by terrible wars, social inequality, corruption, poverty, hunger, environmental disaster — hell, name it!!!
Only our fur babies, still loving us despite our ugliness (and loving unconditionally), carry, in my opinion, some hope. Come on people, concentrate! That’s your ONLY life, and this is our ONLY planet, let’s make it homey and cozy — instead of ugly and cold and filled with hate. PLEASE🙏🙏🙏
