This year I created a homemade advent calendar for Dec 1st- Dec 24th for the kids. We’ve done the elf, we’ve had/have other traditions, and although I’ve bought the chocolate ones before, I’ve never really felt those were special I guess. I couldn’t find an Advent calendar unique that is already premade, so I made my own. Now, I can’t yet tell you what I put into it since my kids are teens and are on social media 😉. Comment below if you’d like to know how I made it or what I used in it for my 18 year old daughter and 15 year old boy.

Sometimes you just get a little actor in front of the lens, and it is SO cute. These two boys had so much fun just playing with mom and dad. This is the best... Just have your kids play a game, act out a imaginative scene, throw them around in the air and there you have it! The best genuine photos :) Thank you Kuiack for a gorgeous day. .kuiack

More families to share with you all! I wish I could edit all my photos as fast as I can click the shutter that's for sure.

Finding the right location, shooting at the best time of day, making sure the batteries are full and cards are empty is all just the beginning for a photographer. I love it - Once I meet my clients (which sounds weird because I feel like my clients are more like friends) and take a little walk about and have a chat, its smooth sailing. Oh the golden fields and cinematic sky on the prairie, defiantly make for a great photographic backdrop. If you have a little extra time then this is a nice relaxing location which would be on my list. Its worth mentioning that you'll want bug spray, and extra shoes while walking to the perfect spot. What a great spot for the fields, the river, the wood walk way, the sky, and of course 🍂🍁 ❤️ the trees...

Been following along with this family for a while now, and I can't wait to see how they've changed next time we meet! Fall seems to pass so fast... It seems one minute we're sending the kids to their first day of class, and in the next moment the leaves are starting to fall. Enjoy these next couple weeks everyone.
