I’ve been pretty quiet on here over the last few months. I was becoming a bit too focused on my social media and the algorithm. I decided that my personal life needed to take the lead and have my small business take the passenger seat.
In the past I put my small business first, in situations where it probably should have came second. I’m definitely a people pleaser and love to help everyone that I can. Being a 1 woman show though, it’s hard to find that balance! I hit a bit of a slump personally and realized that I needed to take time to refresh.
After losing my father last summer, I have some regret with being somewhat consumed with my business and not taking more time for my personal life. This summer, I have chosen to live in it, for myself and my young family. I want to help everyone out who inquires with Leo & Sage, but I have come to realize that it’s okay to have that time booked off. This summer has already been so rewarding and it’s only the beginning!
I can’t begin to tell you all how much I appreciate your support in my small business! I love connecting with everyone, whether you’re a client or a fellow small business owner. I have gained many amazing friends and clients through this experience and could not be more grateful! Winning Gold in a category with Saskatoon Community Votes has been a huge reminder that I am worthy and my business is on a great path!
