It has definitely been an interesting year. To date I have not been able to DJ at all this year courtesy of Covid. I am still thankful that my business is still intact, just in a kind of hibernation state. I have spent the extra time with my family and have had some great adventures with them this year.
From our house to yours we wish you all a Merry Christmas, Festavus for the Rest of Us, or whatever you choose to celebrate. Just be happy, healthy and safe.

I fielded a question today “Why do you do it?”
The question was posed as a concern over how exhausted I was this morning after an extremely busy week of breathing life back into Jurassic Park St. Thomas, the Locke’s Public School Fun Fair. I want to share my response to this question.I love my community. I live here, my business makes money here, my family is here, and simply because I can.
It is no secret to those that know me that I am hugely involved in my community. I am a member of the St. Thomas Kinsmen Club and through that club and the Deputy Governor to Zone F Kin with 11 clubs to oversee. I volunteer my DJ services in a plethora of fundraising endeavors from Welkin’s Children’s Mental Health Day, Welkin’s Fun Run for Children’s Mental Health, I donned 6000 bees on my face for cancer research. I allowed myself to be taped to a luggage trolley for 4 hours to raise money for a friend who was battling cancer. I sponsor the Kinsmen Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas Parade Float and other Kinsmen Events both financially, volunteer hours and audio video and lighting support. I have volunteered and provided the music for the CASO Station’s Dancing with the Stars fundraiser since it’s inception. I helped the Railway Coalition with the Beerlesque and Carnivale show, and
co-ordinated the audio for Ironhorse Festival with the Pierce Sound. I do all this foremost simply because I can. I enjoy being part of a team that makes things happen, I enjoy seeing the crowd on their feet cheering as the Raptors clinched the Championship, I enjoy watch the kids chasing after Easter eggs, I enjoy the individual people I see dancing or singing to the music I provide. I do all this and work a full time job as Commercial Route Manager with Abell Pest Control, and it must be said that I couldn’t do any of this without the support of my amazing wife and 3 children.
