Just some recent love notes!

Reading through these recent love notes from our couples and my heart is completely full. Being a part of your wedding day is an honor, but opening these sweet messages afterwards as a reminder exactly why we love what we do. A spectacular day for Jess and Scott and their pup Jasper as they shared vows at the always stunning Cherry Ave farms!
I met Jess many years ago and I’ve experienced first hand how loving, caring and compassionate she can be - just a beautiful lady inside and out and she’s found an equally lovely partner in Scott ~always an honour to do what we do but especially for our wedding industry friends 🩵✨

When you know, you’ve discovered something truly magical, that is the feeling I got walking onto this property for the very first time-what a stunner!!!
The Barn on Victoria 🌻 definitely gives you all the feels, a warm lovely couple to host you, a spacious wide, open canvas, unlimited potential and complete privacy! It absolutely took my breath away-so much thought and hard work has gone into this incredible property by Matt and Jess!
There are little hidden gems and Photography spaces everywhere you look- all your dreams are coming true- congratulations! I can’t wait to see all that comes your way- pure magic!!

And so the night continues… Anthony met my son Evan when Evan was 3-4 years old and I worked with his brother Joey and sister Paula at the pillar and post and now go to yoga with his mom so what a family affair to have us all in Toronto celebrating together - watching so many weddings at Vintage Hotels Weddings for over a decade together to helping Anthony’s wedding dreams come true was truly magical!
Congratulations again Anthony Feor and Daniel Jerman - awesome music by Evan Davis and it was fun working with Reece Fisher and Brad Baker !

Anthony and Daniel’s epic day requires more than one post!
From the teenage boy, I trained as a bus boy at the pillar and Post over 20 years ago until now I’ve had the privilege of being beside Anthony from those early days and Hospitality into his real estate career as his first client and now as his official- words can’t describe how excited I was for this day! All those late night talks during the late night buffet’s of hundreds of weddings, watching everybody else’s dreams, come true and then being able to be there for yours was absolutely epic!
Daniel, from the moment you met you truly brought out the best in him, you’re an equal partner, you challenge him and help him grow as he does for you and you compliment one another so beautifully as a couple- love you!

Wow! We are so lucky to get to do what we do!
This summer may have been already a crazy ride of ups and downs for the weather, but one thing remains… It is that people at the end of the day still get to be a married couple and still get to have their wedding dreams come true- we are so glad to be here to help make that all happen!

Summer brings the most magical moments! We have the privilege of being at some pretty spectacular locations throughout the summer that caused us to pause and think…. Can this be real?…. Niagara provides some of the most beautiful backdrops for weddings and we are so proud to be a part of it!

With over 35 years of planning and officiating experience, I have watched weddings evolve from being fairly ordinary into the extraordinary. 30 years ago most wedding ceremonies were still happening in churches so you would book the Hall and the church on the same day to ensure everything would lineup.

Now it would seem, people are planning parties that have gotten out of control due to Pinterest and Instagram, most people going incredibly outside of the financial limits, they had originally set and forget about the ceremony entirely until -quite often -the last minute, which would explain all of the July, August and September inquiries I have been getting over the last couple of weeks.

Think about it for a minute… what do you want to put more effort into??
Building a beautiful marriage that will last for decades to come or building one day that will fly by in a surreal flurry that will go by so fast it will make your head spin?!

We are here for the long journey with you, we build relationships with our couples that can last far beyond your wedding day!
