Tucked within our 1881 barn, The Courtyard was once the original barnyard of our sixth generation family farm… a space that historically held the cattle behind a large wooden gate that enclosed the yard when my dad was growing up in the farm and for generations before that. What was once only working farmland has been transformed into an intimate open-air gathering space under the stars 😌
Today, flowers surround the space while grass, ferns, old barn wood and modern concrete create a contrast that feels both grounded and romantic. Twinkle lights are overhead as guests sip cocktails from our vintage-inspired bar tucked into the bistro area, gather around candlelit tables, and dine alfresco.
There’s still so much history in these walls. The building now known as our Bridal Cabin once housed cattle and horses & while chickens were nearby!
Looong before weddings and dinner parties, this land was simply home to generations of farming life… our home.
Now, The Courtyard hosts alfresco dinners for up to 130 guests or ceremonies for up to 180 guests.. designed to feel intimate, transportive, and quietly European, while still deeply connected to the agricultural roots of our farm.
