At the Southwest Business Summit, we believe that strong communities are built by people who are willing to lead, innovate, support others, and create positive change.

Our annual Summit Awards celebrate the entrepreneurs, organizations, and community champions who are making a meaningful impact across Southwest New Brunswick. Following community nominations and voting, we are proud to recognize our 2026 recipients:

The Southwest Business Summit is a wrap. From the opening night at the Huntsman to the gala and awards ceremony, this year brought together exactly the kind of people this region needs in the same room. Leaders, builders, small business owners, and community champions all showing up ready to lead through change.

Kickoff night is here! 🎉
Joshua Council on the keynote stage. Hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, and the first conversations before a full day of learning.

Registration opens at 3 PM in the Algonquin lobby, then hop the shuttle over to the Huntsman Marine Science Centre for a 6–9 PM kickoff.
Back at it tomorrow for the full day Summit.
Tonight we connect. Tomorrow we get to work.

These rooms will be filled with entrepreneurs, leaders, creators and changemakers from across Southwest New Brunswick, all coming together to talk about what it really means to lead through change.

From a fireside chat with Arlene Dickinson to breakout sessions focused on real-life business application, strategy, leadership, AI, marketing and workforce development, this year’s summit was designed to leave you with ideas you can actually take back to your business.

We also heard the feedback from busy business owners who simply can’t step away for multiple full days. That’s why this year’s format looks a little different. The kickoff event takes place May 27 from 6–9 PM at Huntsman Marine Science Centre, with transportation available from the Algonquin and downtown Saint Andrews. The full summit day follows on May 28, packed with learning, networking and celebration, so you can get back to business.

The final walkthroughs are happening, the details are coming together, and we’re getting excited to welcome everyone to Saint Andrews next week.
