Denendeh~this is the place I was born and raised, it will always be home. It was so special to spend some time reconnecting, and it is always the best food when my uncles and aunties feed me, it nourishes my soul💜 We enjoyed fresh moose harvested by my besties husband, moose head soup, fresh fish, moose marrow bones, berries, bannock…. All the best things! Mahsi 🌸

Had the honour of being a guest judge on Top Chef this season, my episode airs Thursday May 22nd on Bravo! It was pretty cool meeting the cast, eating some incredible dishes prepared by incredible chefs (yes I have a fav) utilizing my judgy-ness in a good way 😂 and representing my Dene culture! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Sourdough always sounds so extra, when in reality it’s very much the “old way” of making leavened bread. The process always feels a little like therapy for me. These sourdough skillet cinnamon rolls were especially fun to make (and eat!)

People ask how I pull off catering for large crowds, but the honest truth is I couldn’t do it without these 2 amazing women! Catering the annual has become one of the jobs we most look forward to every year! And supporting this amazing organization is an honour! Thanks for having us again!
