The Shepody Food Bank We provide food and related assistance to those living between Edgett's Landing, NB and Alma, NB Canada. Our hours of operation are Wednesdays 1 - 3 pm.

The Shepody Food Bank works to address hunger by providing food and related assistance to those in need in our community. We provide an average of 2,200 meals each month in our community. Are your or someone you know in need of assistance? We can help. We are open each Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. We provide 4 - 7 days worth of food to help those in need make it through the month. We also

are involved in the breakfast program at the Riverside-Albert Consolidated School. Interested in supporting our work in the community? You can mail or drop off your donation:

Our answering machine is generally checked by our volunteers Mondays from 9-11am and Wednesdays 1-3pm. Good Afternoon:

The Albert County Food Bank is once again offering an education bursary this year. The maximum award is $1000 and is open to anyone who is enrolling in post-secondary education this September and a resident of Albert County.

Deadline for applications this year is May 8th and may be sent to the Albert County Food Bank mailbox at [email protected].

Please reach out to either the Albert County Food Bank or the Shepody Food Bank for an application form.

The Shepody Food Bank is again looking for volunteers who could help out on Wednesdays, both mornings and afternoons. There is no need to commit to every week, just let our scheduler know when you are available and we can fit you in!

We are looking for a few Wednesday morning volunteers. We are especially looking for a few people who wouldn't mind doing some lifting, unloading food from the truck onto carts to bring into the building.

Wednesday afternoon shifts are from 1 until 3pm. We are a friendly, social environment. Please let us know if you have some time to help out!

We are pleased to report that in spite of a road closure and cold weather, the Christmas food boxes were all safely distributed today. The Shepody Food Bank Board of Directors would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Albert County Christmas Aid for providing the boxes, and our fabulous volunteers Kevin, Jared, Heather, and Janet for helping with delivery and distribution. Merry Christmas!
